June 7th, 2025, we visited Doon Hospital with UPeS University interns to assess government medical services. The experience was overwhelmingly positive, with good facilities and affordable doctor consultations (Rs. 18/-). Diagnostic services like X-ray, CT Scan, and MRI are efficient. The new cancer treatment facility is a significant addition. However, patients expressed concerns about medicine availability and doctors not prescribing generic names. These issues need attention to further enhance patient care.

7 जून, 2025 को हमने सरकारी चिकित्सा सेवाओं का आकलन करने के लिए UPeS विश्वविद्यालय के प्रशिक्षुओं के साथ दून अस्पताल का दौरा किया। अनुभव बहुत सकारात्मक रहा, अच्छी सुविधाएँ और किफ़ायती डॉक्टर परामर्श (18/- रुपये) के साथ। एक्स-रे, सीटी स्कैन और एमआरआई जैसी डायग्नोस्टिक सेवाएँ कुशल हैं। नई कैंसर उपचार सुविधा एक महत्वपूर्ण अतिरिक्त है। हालाँकि, रोगियों ने दवा की उपलब्धता और डॉक्टरों द्वारा जेनेरिक नाम न लिखे जाने के बारे में चिंताएँ व्यक्त कीं। रोगी देखभाल को और बेहतर बनाने के लिए इन मुद्दों पर ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है।"
