In a discussion moderated by Mr. Satish Awate (Centre for Environment Education), they will delve into the topic, ‘Communities and Ponds of Vidarbha: A model of community-based conservation and ecological revival.’ Together, they will explore the impact of women’s leadership as a key strategy and how these community-led efforts have created a striking example of human–nature coexistence.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) reported that 54,122 two-wheeler riders lost their lives in 2024 because they were not wearing helmets. This includes 39,470 riders and 14,652 pillion passengers.​

That's 30.5% of all road crash deaths in the country.​
