Journalling is perhaps the most powerful process for any parent to immerse in, in order to deepen the connections with one’s child and one’s own self.

Whatever insights, learning or wisdom that I( jinankb.in ) hold today has been entirely the result of deep observation of children since 1991. This process of pure observation is what many call meditation, mindfulness or darshan i.e. just “seeing”. Journaling is an extension, a refined version of this kind of observation especially meant for parents.

This process of journaling will not only unfold the genius in a child but also help parents to address their own damages and grow towards a natural being.

While observation is a natural process for all of us, the need to reinitiate it through a program like this arises because modern people are cognitively damaged and their perceptions are already covered by second-hand knowledge. Observational journalling calls for observation to be without conclusion and we can't achieve this today due to education.

No parenting expert, no parenting workshop can even come closer to the learnings one can derive from the process of unbiased observation.

Thus, if you are a parent and are tired of listening to shallow parenting wisdom of so-called parenting experts of social media - Join us in this journey where a small group of parents will take on to journalling journey in order to learn FROM CHILDREN and to understand ourselves and our children better.

Do Nothing Parenting

Nurturing is the very nature of every species. Parenting used to be an effortless, spontaneous and instinctual process for human beings. Why is it that today we have the need for million books, thousands of experts, and hundreds of workshops to know how to raise a child?

Why are we not able to understand children? Why are we not using our instincts and have become totally dependent on the experts? Why is it that today we have created a world that is so anti-child?

From effortless parenting how has parenting become an activity that is creating anxiety, stress, and chaos? Children imbibe everything they experience. If they experience stress and anxiety, they imbibe it. So, what is the anxious parent teaching the children to become? What is the external dependence of parents teaching the child whose very nature is to ‘learn’ and create knowledge?

The nature of the child is to be content, to be present, to learn choicelessly.

Anger, fear, guilt, shame, boredom, depression, jealousy, sadness, demanding, attention-seeking, loneliness, throwing tantrums are all outcomes of modern parenting. What conditions create this behavior in children? Are behavioral problems like ADHD, ADD, ODD Conduct disorder, etc creation of modern parenting?

How could indigenous communities raise children effortlessly?

DO NOTHING PARENTING is an invitation to explore and reclaim what we've lost in the process of becoming modern and educated. This is not a regular parenting workshop where you'll receive a set of tips and tricks.

Modernity blames the victims rather than addressing the root cause. It is a miracle that lots of children due to life’s sheer endurance manage to escape the destruction that modernity is doing to them.
