Pratham Delhi Education Initiative

Pratham Delhi Education Initiative Pratham Delhi Education Initiative is a Non-Profit Organisation working to provide quality education to underprivileged children.

Since the time of its inception in 1999, with the mission of “Every Child in School and Learning Well”, Pratham Delhi Education Initiative (PDEI) addressed three basic issues in elementary education: Access, Retention and Quality Learning. Registered as a Public Charitable Trust, it envisions to provide quality education to children under the age group of 3-11 years. The Trust as a component of the larger Pratham Network, is one of the 7 self ruling Trusts whose members are professionals from various walks of life sharing a common goal articulated in the mission. The grass root level activities are majorly divided into School and Community based Operations. These are further spread across 5 of the 12 Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Zones: North Shahdara, South Shahdara, Karol Bagh, Rohini and Civil Lines. Over the course of these 16 years, basically the key focus has been to provide learning support to children in Schools and Communities.

Celebrating 27 Years of Pratham Delhi Education Initiative! 🎉

Today, we proudly celebrate 27 years of Pratham Delhi Education Initiative—a journey driven by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Over the past 27 years, we have worked alongside children, families, communities, teachers, volunteers, government partners, donors, and well-wishers to make quality education accessible to those who need it most. Every milestone we have achieved is a reflection of your trust, partnership, and unwavering support.

From classrooms and Anganwadis to community learning spaces and Mohalla Libraries, together we have created countless opportunities for children to discover the joy of learning and build a brighter future.

As we celebrate this special milestone, we renew our commitment to reaching more children, strengthening foundational learning, and ensuring that every child has the chance to achieve their full potential.

💙 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey. Your support inspires us to keep moving forward.

Here's to many more years of learning, hope, and impact!

Happy 27th Foundation Day to the entire Pratham Delhi family! 🎊
