CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un

The Budgam Chemists & Distributors Association (BCDA) expresses its deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Mr. Shams-ud-Din Azad, the beloved father of Mr. Fayaz Azad, Vice President, JKCDA Kashmir Province.

This is an irreparable loss, and we stand in solidarity with Mr. Fayaz Azad and his entire family during this time of immense grief. We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives the departed soul, grants him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, expands his grave with His mercy and light, and blesses the bereaved family with Sabr-e-Jameel and the strength to bear this profound loss.

On behalf of the President, Office Bearers, Executive Members, and all members of the Budgam Chemists & Distributors Association, we extend our sincere sympathies and prayers to the bereaved family.

District Budgam

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF ELECTION RESULTS

The Office of the Election Commission, Budgam Chemists and Distributors Association (BCDA), District Budgam, had issued the Election Notification for the election term 2026–2029 to conduct the long-pending district elections, as no elections had been held during the past thirteen years.

Following the successful completion of elections in all tehsils of District Budgam, the Election Commission issued the district election notification on 7 July 2026, with 11 July 2026 fixed as the last date for submission of nomination forms.

Only one valid nomination was received for each of the following posts. Accordingly, both candidates have been declared elected unopposed.

The Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to officially announce the following results:

District President:

District General Secretary:
Mr. Ghulam Qadir Bhat
M/S Qadir Enterprises, Chadoora

The Election Commission extends its heartfelt congratulations to both office bearers on their unopposed election for the 2026–2029 term of the Budgam Chemists and Distributors Association.

May Almighty Allah bless them with wisdom, sincerity, and the ability to serve the association and its members with dedication and integrity.

Kupwara Chemists & Distributors Association Elects New Office Bearers
On 11th July 2026, the elections of the Kupwara Chemists & Distributors Association were successfully concluded. Mr. Pir Latief Ahmad was elected as President, while Mr. Bilal Zargar was elected as General Secretary of the district association.
Mr. Fayaz Azad, Vice President, JKCDA Kashmir, could not attend the oath-taking ceremony due to the hospitalization of his father. However, he deputed his representatives to attend the function on his behalf. The representatives were:

Mr. Dilnawaz Koul
Mr. Tariq Ahmad
Mr. Fayaz Azad extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected office bearers and the entire team. He expressed confidence that the new leadership will work with dedication, sincerity, and commitment for the welfare of the chemists and distributors of District Kupwara.
We wholeheartedly congratulate the newly elected team and wish them every success in serving their district and strengthening the organization.
