28.01.2025 : Runanubandh Day
Memories of our ‘Aadharvad’ Late Shri Ramakrishnakaka were re-kindled in the Library & Home cinema hall on the occasion of his 1st Death Anniversary in a somber function under the Chairmanship of Shri Vishram Dhond , Shri Arvind Telang in the presence of Shri Pranesh Dhond. Smt. Shubhangi Bandekar, Shaila Mhatre, Manager Smt. Sumantai and Managing Committee Member Mr Anup Mopkar highlighted different facets and selfless contribution of Ramakrishnakaka.

26.01.2025 : Republic Day Celebration
Senior Citizens of SnehaMandir and students of V.M.Kuvelkar Nursing Home attended the flag hoisting ceremony at 9am at the hands of Chief Guest Dr. Mrs.Nutan Dev who was welcomed by Manager Smt.Sumantai. Dr. Mrs. Dev explained the concept and importance of Republic Day and stressed on the necessity of sacrificial attitude of the people towards the Nation. Residents Shri Govind Chimulkar, Smt. Pooja Bale, Shri Vishram Dhond and Miss Prerna Rekdo also spoke on the occasion. The celebrations concluded with an entertainment programme by the residents and the nursing students.

16.01.2025 : Opinion Poll Day
Konkani Lekhak Sangh celebrated the Opinion Poll Day in the presence of their President Mr. Gaurish Vernekar, Ex President Sufala Gaitonde and Chief Guest Mr. N. Shivdas who briefly narrated the history of Opinion Poll. Relevant photographs depicting the struggle of the movement were exhibited. Poets Uday Mhambre, Vinod Gaude, Milind Bharne, Prakash Pagi, Sufala Gaitonde, Gaurish Vernekar and Vishranti Naik participated in the Konkani Kavya Sandhya. Shri Govind Chimulkar, Vishram Dhond, Smt. Hema Mondkar, Shubhangi Bandekar, Shaila Mhatre, Aparna Borkar and Nirmala Gaonkar were the prize winners in spot games conducted by Milind Bharne.

10.01.2025 : Satsang team
On the occasion of her 60th birthday,a faculty member of Art of Living, Goa, Mrs. Tanuja organized satsang between 5pm-7pm for which 30 devotees were present. Mrs. Tanuja was welcomed by Shri Govind Chimulkar & Mrs. Suniti Rege. Satsang was followed by dinner sponsored by the organizers.

07.01.2025 : Visit to Nandanvan Farm
On the invitation of Mr. & Mrs. Anil Priolkar, the managers of Nandanvan Farms, our senior resident Shri Arvind Telang took the lead and organized a picnic at the farms where 22 residents participated. Ms Shaila and her team coordinated the event where they presented a cultural programme and Antakshari. Shri Pradiep & Mrs. Hema Mondkar, Smt. Harshada Govekar, Shri Arvind Telang presented old Hindi melodies. Mr Anil & Mrs. Devina Priolkar were personally present and were ably assisted by their driver Babani.

24.12.2024 : Christman Celebrations
The students of V.M.Kuvelkar Nursing Home celebrated Merry X’Mas by presenting a skit related to the birth of the Christ and group dance. Mr. Francis Vaz, Mrs. Juliet Vaz and Mrs.Rosa Gracias were the Chief Guest for the function by Manager Smt.Suman Samant. Mr.Uday Gaunkar, Ms.Siddhi Naik, faculty members Mr.Isidore Gomes and Madam.Medini Desai, Shri.Govind Chimulkar participated. The function ended with distribution of gifts by Santa.

19.12.2024 : Tenth Anniversary of Pan-Aroma Restaurant, Ponda
20 residents along with Dr. Brahmanand Cuncoliencar attended lunch organized on the occasion of the 10th Annivesary celebrations of the Pan Aroma restaurant at the invitation of its owner Mr. Ratish Naik. They were entertained at the venue with games and songs.

19.12.2024 : Goa Liberation Day
The flag hoisting was done at the hands of the Chief Guest, famous Psychiatrist Dr. Brahmanand Cuncoliencar, in the presence of all the residents and nursing students. Dr. Cuncoliencar narrated a brief history of Goan Liberation and impressed the need to sacrifice for the Society, State & the Nation. Students of Nursing Home presented entertainment programme which was followed by lunch.

17.12.2024 : Visit of V.M.Salgaonkar Institute of Hospitality Education
Associate Professor Dr. Lysett D’Souza led 25 students of the Institute with student in charge A***n Tendulkar who presented an entertainment programme and distributed snacks to the residents.

08.12.2024 : Annual Day of V.M.Kuvelkar Nursing Home
Hon’ble Minister for Electricity Shri Sudin Dhavalikar was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He presented Awards to the rankers Miss.Priyanka Mogdur, Miss.Ravina Naik and Miss.Sonali Naik and distributed Certificates to the passing batch 13 of Nurses of the Nursing Home. Hon’ble Minister lauded the efforts of Sneha Mandir and assured his patronage. He also enlightened the Nurses and the audience on various career avenues available for the nurses to build their future. Working President Dr. Ajay Vaidya welcomed the gathering and Jt. Secretary Shri.Vijaykant Namshikar proposed vote of thanks.

Dr. Sudin Ghanekar organized a singing programme of old and popular Hindi Film Songs on the occasion of birthday of his father (23.11.2024) which was followed by snacks. He was welcomed with a flower bouquet by senior resident Shri Govind Chimulkar
