Jashandeep Kaur, NCC Cadet, Selected for TSC Firing Competition

Swami Sant Das Public School, Phagwara, added yet another feather to its cap on 30th August 2025, as NCC Cadet Jashandeep Kaur, a student of Class IX, was selected for the prestigious TSC Firing Competition to be held in Delhi.

Representing the 8 Punjab Battalion NCC in the JW category, Jashandeep secured a place among the top three cadets. She is the only girl cadet from the school chosen to represent the Jalandhar NCC Group at this level.

The competition will continue till 20th September 2025. School authorities, teachers, and fellow students congratulated Jashandeep on her proud achievement and extended their best wishes for her future endeavors.

NCC Cadets Attend Road Safety Awareness Lecture by “Helmet Man of India”

The NCC cadets of our school had the privilege of attending an enlightening Road Safety Awareness Lecture held at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Auditorium, Cantonment, Jalandhar.

The session was delivered by Mr. Raghvendra Kumar, widely known as the “Helmet Man of India.” A law graduate from Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida, Mr. Kumar has become a symbol of road safety in India through his remarkable mission of distributing over 65,000 helmets across 22 states. His campaign has not only raised awareness but has also saved many lives, making a real impact on society.

Through his inspirational words and personal experiences, Mr. Kumar highlighted the importance of wearing helmets, following traffic rules, and being responsible citizens. The cadets were deeply inspired by his dedication and came away from the session with a renewed commitment to spread awareness about road safety in their own communities.

NCC Cadet Jashan Deep Kaur Qualifies for Thal Sena Inter Group Firing

We are proud to announce the remarkable achievement of our NCC cadet, Jashan Deep Kaur of Class 9, who has qualified for the Thal Sena Inter Group Firing Competition after securing the second position in the recent firing competition.

Demonstrating exceptional focus, skill, and discipline, Jashan Deep Kaur has earned the honour of representing her group in the prestigious Thal Sena competition to be held at Ropar from 26th July to 5th August 2025. Her success stands as a testament to her hard work and the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence in all spheres, including co-curricular and defence training activities.

The school management, Principal, and staff extend their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Jashan for her upcoming competition.

Our NCC cadets Sachin and Keshav Modgil from Class 9 have successfully attended the 10-day Educational National Trekking Camp held at Almora, Uttarakhand, from 20th June to 29th June 2025! 🏕🇮🇳

This prestigious camp provided an incredible opportunity for young cadets to explore the great outdoors, build endurance, and develop leadership and team spirit.
