National Association for the Blind - NAB- Goa National Association for the Blind (NAB,India) was established in 1952 and it is the biggest NGO in India. Our Branch conducts the following activities:

The main objective of this Association is to cater to the needs of the Blind. NAB, India has State Branches and District Branches in every state. Ours is one such State Branch, which was established on 10th February 1983. We do not have district branches, as Goa is a small state. In Goa there are more than 4,000 Visually Impaired persons mostly located at the periphery of the state of Goa. Educati

• Fundamentals of Computers: From keyboard orientation to internet browsing, taught with NVDA screen reader. Includes MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for professional documentation, data handling, and presentations.
• Android Mobile Training: Learn to use smartphones with TalkBack accessibility features.
• AI Tools Training: Hands-on sessions with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot to enhance productivity and employability.
• Assistive Devices: Practical training with modern tools for study and daily living.
• Mobility & Employability Skills: Build confidence, independence, and workplace readiness.
