Al-Marif Trust was started with the sole aim to serve humanity. It is a non profit charitable organisation serving the poor and needy irrespective of caste, creed and religion. As the country grows day by day it has forgotten that there are many many poor people which have been left behind. The benefit of the growth of a nation has not been passed out to the poor rural areas where there is despair
. The city is situated at the border of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. It has been neglected by all governments for many years. It is a very backward area with very poor infrastructure. Al-Marif Trust is the only biggest NGO working for the economically weaker sections in this area. Al-Marif Trust with the help of philanthropists has been working among the poor for more than 3 decades now. We are working to help Old Men and Women, Widows, destitute, orphans and poor in general. The Zakath fund which is collected by Al-Marif Trust is used in a Shariat Compliant manner as per the rules laid down by prominent Ulema.
