The collective thinking gave concrete shape in providing an institutional framework in RUDSETI. In 1982, first institute was established at Ujire, Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka State. At present our ONgole institute has been functi
oning in Ongole TTDC Compound premises since 1988. Our institute is Jointly sponsored by Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Educational Trust and two progressive public sector Banks Syndicate Bank and Canara Bank, with the objective of promoting self-employment among the rural un-employed youth. The accommodation is provided in old samithi quarters on free lease basis. Our operational area consists of Prakasam district. We are providing short duration residential training programmes to unemployed youth free of cost with free food and accommodation. MISSION:

Institute has evolved need based location specific training programmes. They continuously scan the environment and evolve new training programmes. They are short-term intensive courses ranging from 1 to 8 weeks. TRAINING METHODOLOGY:

The Cutting edge of RUDSETI training is the Post Training follow-up, for sustained motivation among the trainees. The efforts to make them raise on to pinnacle includes;
Two years follow-up Regular correspondences, individual contacts, unit visit, Village/Taluk/District/Branch level meeting. Special follow up meetings involving bankers/Govt. offcials. Facilitating Credit linking with the banks for setting up of micro enterprises. Business linkage, Workshops, Seminars, etc. WHAT SETS US APART:
Success (settlement) Rate of 68.80%. Upto March,2012 26 branches of RUDSETI have trained around 2.78 lacs unemployed youth. Settled trainees earning in the range of Rs. 3,000 to 30,000 p.m. Employment Generation in the range of 1 to 50 persons by the settled trainees. Transformation of settled trainees into trainers at many units of RUDSETI. MARKETING SUPPORT:
RUDSET Bazaars are organized to provide marketing support to the RUDSETI trained entrepreneurs. This facilitates the participants to get an insight about market trends and customer behavior. Each unit organizes atleast one bazaar every year during melas, exhibitions, special occasions. RUDSETI conducts National Level Exhibition cm sales at Dharmasthala every year during “Laksha Deepotsava” during November – December. The trained entrepreneurs from the units of RUDSETI participate in the event.
