IUBC - Faculty of Self-reliance & Survival Educators Faculty of Self-reliance & Survival Educators will inform, and empower people by providing them with information to be more self-reliant.



The Faculty of Self-reliance & Survival Educators (FSRSE) is a faculty association of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent movement, with branches of the faculty in every country where national Blue Cross Societies or Blue Crescent Societies operate. The Faculty of Self-reliance & Survival Educators will inform, and empower people by providing them with information to be more self-reliant. To be

accepted in to membership of this Faculty association, you will need to be in membership of your local Blue Cross & Blue Crescent chapter Fellowship, and posses a range of knowledge, skill sets and experience pertaining to various aspects of Self Reliance & Survival in rural and urban settings. Additionally, you will need to be providing training programs and instructing on the course within your chapter.

FSRSE is dedicated to educating and empowering individuals and communities with the knowledge and skills necessary for self-reliance, resilience, and survival in both urban and rural settings.

📚 What We Do
✔️ Teach essential survival skills for emergency and crisis situations
✔️ Educate on food security, shelter building, water purification, and first aid
✔️ Provide training in bushcraft, self-defense, emergency preparedness, and homesteading
✔️ Equip individuals with practical skills to thrive in adverse conditions
✔️ Support communities in developing sustainable, self-sufficient living strategies

🤝 Membership Criteria
To become a FSRSE faculty member, you must:
✅ Be a member of your local Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Chapter Fellowship
✅ Possess expertise in self-reliance, survival, and preparedness
✅ Be actively instructing and delivering survival education programs within your chapter
