Update on NPS Funds Choice

On receipt of several communications from NPS Dhaari Staff Members, Com. Ratneshwar Chaudhary, the General Secretary -AIPSBOF Code-91 has written to the Top Management of Punjab & Sind Bank to allow the NPS Subscribers to Choice their Fund Managers and Opt for Active Choice in Assets Allocations

It has been estimated that on account of non-availability of Active Choice in Assets Allocation/option to Change of Fund Manager, an Officer who joined the NPS in 2011 has suffered an approximate loss of 10-12 lakh till date and if the sought changes is not effected staff members shall continue to suffer the loss

The Dearness Allowance (DA) rate for bank employees has been increased by 2.63% effective from November 2024. This revision will positively impact the salary structure across various officer cadres.
Impact on Salary:
This DA increment will lead to an increase in monthly salary ranging approximately from ₹1,600 to ₹6,000, depending on the officer's cadre and basic pay.

Happy Birthday to our Senior Comrade Ratneshwar Chaudhary 🍫🍫💐💐who has made/written more than 1358 communications/letters/memorandum to Bank Management/Indian Bank Association/Different Ministries and other Concerned bodies/Authorities in last 5 years for demanding various facilities and resolving various issues of officers' class in the Banking Industries.

Under the excellent and Infaillable Leadership of Com. Ratneshwar Chaudhary - not only the officers of Punjab & Sind Bank has been benefitted but all officer class of Banking industry has been benefitted. It is mentionable here that the demand of the long sought 'The Leave Bank Policy in Banks' was first made by Com. Ratneshwar Chaudhary from Indian Banks Association, which has been approved under 12th Bipartite Settlement signed in 8th Joint Note on 8th March 2024. Which is a great relief for the Ailing Bank Employees who need long medical leaves.

Further, Com. Ratneshwar Chaudhary has already written to Ministries/IBA to implement Child Care Leave in Banking Industry and we are quite hopeful that very soon the demand will be looked upon by the Government. In Addition to the various other Welfare measures are taken up by Com. Ratneshwar Chaudhary and the details there shall be shared with public in general soon.
