Mark your calendars for the 15th and 16th of October as we embark on a journey that encapsulates the essence of unity amidst diversity, and the transformative potential of collective reflection, which lies at the heart of our great nation.
NIC is a representative body composed of leaders from diverse walks of life, united by their commitment to fostering national unity and harmony. As an integral component of 'Uthan,' NIC actively engages in dialogues, discussions, and policy considerations that promote social cohesion, religious tolerance, and cultural pluralism.
NIC engages in thoughtful contemplations regarding the Places of Worship Act. It recognizes the evolving socio-cultural dynamics and the need to adapt legislation to contemporary realities. While the Act has been effective in preventing disputes, it is essential to revisit its provisions periodically, ensuring that it continues to serve the objectives of national integration and harmony.
The Act, in its current form, raises questions about its scope and application. Should it be amended to address emerging issues without compromising its core principles?
