A Brunch of Opportunities at Alliance Française de Delhi
Today, hosted a warm and convivial brunch to celebrate a meaningful milestone: the first batch of 6 students awarded scholarships for French language studies 🌍🇫🇷
These scholarships were granted to:
- Tina & Elishiba (through Jagriti)
- Vishal & Noori (through Tara)
- Jafar & Kajal (through Salaam Baalak Trust)
The funds were raised through the Grand Ball, proudly relaunched last year by Alliance Française with the support of generous sponsors, including . Under the name “French as a life changer”, the initiative was recently honoured with a Special CSR Award by IFCCI.
Main Tendue played a key role in connecting Jagriti and Salaam Baalak Trust with Alliance Française, helping make this journey possible.
The morning unfolded around a French breakfast, infused with the spirit of Christmas, laughter, and inspiring conversations. Most moving of all were the students themselves, who shared their dreams, ambitions, and hopes for the future.
As rightly said by Caroline from Tara:
“The children need opportunities, not charity. They need exposure and opportunities.”
Today was not just a celebration of scholarships, but of possibility, dignity, and trust in young potential. Here’s to language as a bridge, and education as a door opener!
