The recently renovated inorganic laboratory was formally inaugurated by Dr. Jaydeep Sarangi , Principal Sir, who marked the occasion with a titration of the solution. Dr. Dasarath Mal of VJRC College and Dr. Madhusudan S**t of D A College were also present at that time.

We are pleased to share with you that the Seminar Abstract Proceedings book ( with ISBN) of FCRMRF–2025 (held on 10th December, 2025) was graciously inaugurated by Honourable DPI Madam Dr. Madhumita Manna, Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal, and Dr. Jaydeep Sarangi, Principal, New Alipore College.

We sincerely thank all the authors for their valuable contributions, which have enriched the academic quality of the seminar proceedings.

On 08.01.2026, Respected Madam Rupa Dasgupta, Principal, Debra TSKS Mahavidyalaya and Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Education Directorate, Government of West Bengal, visited our Department. She was invited as a resource person for a workshop on the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) held at the college.

The Department of Chemistry successfully organized an educational visit to Rifel Factory Ichapur on 06.01.26, attended by faculty members and students, and afterwards, everyone enjoyed special biryani / Veg thali from Barrackpore.
