rted work going on for the above projects and hopes to help in building of a Hospice for HIV & Aids patients along with terminally ill patients too in conjunction with different NGOs. HEART has also brought together NGOs manufacturing products by rural women under its STREE (Smash Tradition, Rehabilitate, Educate & Empower) project . Through various programs it hopes to help them raise finance, subsidize any work done by other organizations and work jointly with them. Under the GREAT (Giving Respect to Education & Teaching) project, we have had events in schools and colleges wherein we have organized the 1st Inter School Competition wherein over 3000 students from 33 schools participated in nine events and was a grand success in August 2000. We also had the NMSA NMMC Athletic meet in September 2000 through which for the first time speed was clocked. 498 students and 22 schools participated in this unique event.
