We the "Social Wing" of RAIT plan to undertake few activities like - teaching underprivileged children, awareness drives, various environmental activities, etc. Unfortunately most of the people lead their own lives with no concern for the society, its needs or its problem. In India we face many social emergencies because of major issues like il

literacy, poverty, lack of housing and sanitation facilities, malnutrition, cultural and environmental degradation, child labour, female foeticide, animal abuse, and many more. Each of us has a responsibility of making this society a better place to live and must realise this responsibility outside the sphere of our own lives. Social service certainly has a liberalising and cementing influence and is a must in everyone's life. We the students of RAIT have come together to realise our social responsibilities and to act to accomplish our social goals for the betterment of the society. We the "Social Wing" of RAIT undertake social activities for the welfare of others such as - teaching under-privileged children, awareness drives(through seminar/street plays), various environmental activities(clean up drives, tree plantation drives, promoting renewable energy resources, etc). The Social Wing is open for everyone who wants to volunteer for any such activity. The fortunate ones can remove the barrier between the privileged and the underprivileged, and get to be a part of spreading happiness.
