With the grace and blessings of H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, National Krishi Committee is organizing a National Seminar on Sahaj Krishi from 12th to 14th September 2025 at Mahatma Phule Agriculture University, Rahuri, Ahilyanagar (Maharashtra).
H.H. Shri Mataji introduced Sahaj Krishi in 1982–83 at this very university, highlighting how the transformative effects of Sahaja Yoga on human beings could similarly benefit crops, plants, and animals. Early experiments in Maharashtra and other states generated significant interest among farmers and scientists, leading to a national effort to replicate these results through the network of Sahaja Yoga Centres across India.
Seminar Highlights:
• Benefits of Sahaj Krishi in addressing challenges from climate change—improved productivity, crop resilience, and food quality.
• Sessions on kitchen gardening, terrace gardening, organic and natural farming.
•Interaction between scientists and Sahaj Yogis/Yoginis.
• Business opportunities in agriculture: non-hybrid seed production, fish farming, goat rearing, dairy farming, honey production, etc.
The seminar will host around 500 participants from all states of India and aims to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and practical implementation of Sahaj Krishi techniques nationwide.
