Sarvam Educational Trust – “Meendum Manjappai” (Yellow Cloth Bag) Awareness Initiative
An awareness program promoting the use of “Meendum Manjappai” (reusable yellow cloth bags) was successfully conducted in Namakkal district with the objective of reducing plastic usage and protecting the environment.
As part of this initiative, on behalf of Sarvam Educational Trust, Mrs. Ramya Radhakrishnan, Mrs. Maithili, CEO of the Incubation Centre of KSR Rangasamy College of Technology, Mr. Tamil, NSS Coordinator, and NSS volunteers jointly prepared yellow cloth bags to encourage the use of reusable cloth bags among the public.
The prepared Total-500-cloth bags were handed over to the Namakkal Municipality. They were received by Municipal Commissioner Mr. Sivakumar and Health Department Officer Mr. Thirumoorthy.
These cloth bags will be distributed to the public and students through the municipality, with the aim of spreading awareness about reducing plastic usage and promoting environmental protection.
