Founded in 2015 by Gaugarin Oliver, the Foundation seeks to create a pipeline of entrepreneurs, while also supporting imaginative business leaders whose ideas can create sustainable employment and foster regional partnerships. The Oliver G Foundation is also a pioneer in the adoption of impact investing as a means of catalysing economic change. Unlike most philanthropies, the Foundation sees grant

s as only one of a set of effective philanthropic tools and believes that for the start up and small and growing business segments, impact investing can be a more sustainable means of capitalization because of the entrepreneurial rigor that comes with requiring a financial return.
