U-Respect Foundation is an evidence-based research and intervention organization. Launched in 2011, we work in the area of health (maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS) and sanitation sectors essentially contributing to Millennium Development Goals 4, 5, 6. Our approach is integration of services (SRHR and poverty alleviation, SRH and HIV/AIDS, health sanitation,
womens empowerment ). With a multi-disciplinary team comprising of epidemiologists, public health specialists, educationists, engineers, and social workers, the foundations vision is to make substantial and substantive contribution towards public betterment by leveraging collaborative public-private partnerships and community participation. Towards this, we work closely with governments, at the state and national levels, as well as with other private sector enterprises and similar civil society organisations. The partnership has been useful in synergizing our strengths, resulting in holistic successful outcomes to benefit BoP population.
