tem. Trained and Certified by former Vice President of USA Al Gore we work with Climate Reality Project USA. With a team of Certified Green teachers and senior professionals from various fields we work with Ocean, Indegenious and local Communities all over the world to enforce Community and Youth engagements. The Young Environmentalists Programme works on Environment conservation, eco tourism, Ocean/ lake Cleanups, Educational institutions and Ban on Plastics with government policies with focus on Ocean Communities as Agents of Change. Environmental education teaches students about how the planet's physical and biological systems work, and how we can create a more sustainable future. Therefore the Young Environmentalists Programme believes that Environmental education is a process aimed at creating awareness in the youth rather than preaching to the population. Environment education aims at-

Basic details and understanding of the environment and its relationship with man and biodiversity;learning through a fun way for the entire community to enhance a green living movement. Social and civic values which are in tandem with environmental quality;
Skills to solve environmental problems;
Ability to evaluate environmental measures and education programmes;
A sense of responsibility and urgency towards the environment so as to ensure appropriate actions to solve environmental problems at high school levels. To enable the community to understand the interdependence of all the life on this planet and how to sustain it through our green living habits. To increase people’s awareness of the economic, political, social, cultural, technological and environmental forces which foster sustainable development by networking together.About Young Environmentalists Programme Trust - The Young Environmentalists is dedicated to unleashing the power within all of us specially the youth, to make a difference for improving the environment.We aim to work to help environmentalists and leaders of environmental organizations recognize and take full advantage of their ability to make a real, significant and lasting improvement in the quality of the future of the world and young adults by educating and equipping them with environmental expertise.If we want to keep environmental protections of our air and water, our endangered species, our wilderness, and so much more - and create a green vision for the future, we must continue to lead public education campaigns and grassroots organizing efforts and support the next generation of environmental leaders.

–Young Environmentalists Programme is a registered non profit organization which is purely supported by members who are teachers, housewives, senior citizens, corporate, professors and volunteers who do free social work in field of environment here in the city mainly for Environmental Science scholarly projects which the government has made compulsory in all schools and colleges now. We aim to connect, inspire and empower young changemakers to join forces for a thriving, just and sustainable way of life for all. Young Environmentalists aims at providing support and skills to empower the next generation of leaders through environmental workshops like eco ganesha events, cloth bag workshops, Powai lake bio diversity trails, water conservation that share cutting-edge tools and methodologies, build community and partnership, and provide social and state progress in association with the government. We are a forum for learning, healing, and for positive social impact. These workshops aim to provide wider access to the ideas and community resources we have been blessed to experience. We work with citizens, corporate, the Govt,the BMC and Mayor.Hold interactive nature worksops, outdoor EVS trails, celebrations of Environment dates and EVS project workshops where a space is filled with good energy and inspiration, participants leave with a spark of transformational social change and a greater sense of being a part of a larger community of people who envision a more just and sustainable world.

Collaboration is key to making an equitably successful future in conservation. Launching our Accessible Ocean Tourism research project. Leave NO one behind! -UN .
Launched Ocean Accessibility in scuba diving with organizations which train scuba divers with disabilities in Maldives, Kerala, Goa, Philippines, Havelock, Sri Lanka and Lakshadweep islands over the years. Highlighting that accessible ocean tourism can help citizens and students with seen and unseen disabilities join the fight against climate change. We need all hands on deck and we are leaving no one behind.

Ocean Literacy field trips- connecting the dots between aquatic water bodies and the rivers and oceans. Studying the science of waste pollution and identifying sources and brands of plastic pollution. Which brands still use plastics and why they still lie around after having a civic body clean up daily. Inculcated citizen science with volunteers.

Congratulations Julia, James and Amy!
Every piece of plastic you toss away has the potential to travel thousands of miles, polluting our oceans and harming marine life. 🐢💔 At the Ocean Festival in Sydney, the campaign turned plastic waste into powerful art displays at Darling Harbour, showing the shocking reality of our throwaway culture.

We at Young Environmentalists were proud to promote and collaborate on this impactful movement—because every individual CAN make a difference! 🙌🌏

Let’s choose responsibility over recklessness.
Let’s choose the ocean over pollution.

Thankyou!!! Gratitude!

💙Celebrating the Heart of Education 💙
🌊 Ocean Literacy in Action for Kindergarten Students along with parents and guardians : Training the Next Generation of Changemakers! 🌎

Our UNESCO Green Citizens-recognized Ocean Literacy Field trip by Young Environmentalists Programme NGO at Girgaon Chowpatty, Marine Drive Beach Mumbai celebrated Valentine’s Day with love for our oceans, 🌎💙🌎over 200 participants, including students, faculty, PTA members, and community volunteers, joined forces to combat plastic pollution—collecting 50 kg of waste each hour and most importantly learning about the impacts of beach pollution.

🏅 Special thanks to Kranthi Salvi, Guinness World Record holder and marathon runner, for inspiring us on the healing power of nature and outdoor activity!

🌊🏆 Congratulations to Rachel Britto – Our Youth Ambassador for Ocean Literacy! 🏆🌊

We are thrilled to announce that Rachel Britto has won first prize at the Ocean Literacy Festival and has been recognized as our Youth Ambassador for Ocean Literacy by the Young Environmentalists Programme at Dhempe College, Goa! 🎉💙

This achievement is a testament to Rachel’s dedication, research, and passion for ocean conservation. The Young Environmentalists Programme, in association with the UNESCO Green Citizens Ocean Literacy Project, has been actively mentoring students, providing them with research-driven ocean literacy modules, and helping them develop skills to become confident advocates for marine conservation. 🌏✨

Through interactive workshops, expert mentorship, and immersive learning experiences, students were inspired to explore the vital role of our oceans and effectively communicate solutions for sustainability. Rachel’s journey exemplifies the power of youth-led ocean action, and we are proud to see her take the lead in amplifying ocean literacy! 🌊👏

Join us in celebrating this milestone and supporting the next generation of ocean leaders! 💙🐠
