*WE Club of New Panvel Steel Town:*
World Environment Day 🌴🌳🌲🌱🎋🌾Tree Plantation Drive.🌿☘️🍀🪸🍁🪻🌾🌳🌴
NPST club organized a tree plantation drive aimed at enhancing the greenery and biodiversity of the local environment. The event took place in the CIDCO Garden of sectors 12 and 19, with the participation of club members and local residents. The Objective was - To increase the green cover and raise awareness about the importance of trees and environmental conservation.
A total of 30 saplings were planted during the drive. The saplings planted included:
- **Awala (Indian Gooseberry)**
- **Peru (Guava)**
- **Neem**
- **Mango**
- **Parijat (Night-Flowering Jasmine)**
Apart from Improving air quality, these trees will Provide habitat and food for various local bird species.It will also offer long-term benefits such as shade and fruits.
The event saw active participation from community members, who assisted in the planting and pledged to take care of the saplings.
Looking at the enthusiasm of people, the club plans to continue such activities.
It not only enhanced WE organization's public image but also contribute to increasing membership.
We expect 1-2 new members joining us .
Saplings were donated by WE Archana Jain, WE Neelam Indulkar, WE Megha Jain and WE Anita Vibhandik.
