You are responsible for your own journey. Set your goals, stay focused, and use your breed’s bloodlines wisely.
At the end of the day, everything revolves around the work, knowledge, and decisions you put into your breeding program. Whether your dog wins or loses in the ring should never define your entire journey.
And remember, not every decision you disagree with is the result of corruption or dishonesty. A judge may make a decision that you don’t agree with, but no judge can possibly know every one of the 300+ breeds as deeply as a dedicated breeder who has spent years studying and working with that particular breed.
A judge gives an opinion based on what they see in the ring. A breeder builds a vision through years of knowledge, experience, and understanding of the breed.
Respect the ring, learn from every experience, make your own decisions, and keep working toward the dog you believe your breed should be.
