20th June 2026 | Natural Dyeing Workshop

When was the last time you spent a day learning directly from nature?

Not through a screen.
Not through a book.
But by working with flowers, leaves, roots, fabrics, colours, and your own hands.

On 20th June, we're hosting a hands-on natural dyeing experience where participants will explore how beautiful colours can be created from plants and natural materials.

We'll spend the day extracting colours, dyeing fabrics, understanding traditional knowledge systems, and discovering sustainable alternatives to synthetic dyes.

Facilitator: 'Moitri' an expert in natural dyeing who blends traditional plant-based techniques with contemporary textile design. Moitri will guide you through safe extraction methods, colour-fixing tips, and creative dyeing processes so you leave confident to recreate these recipes at home.

More than a workshop, it's an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the joy of creating something beautiful with your own hands.

If you enjoy nature, sustainability, crafts, textiles, art, farming, or simply meaningful learning experiences, this day is for you.

Seats are limited to keep the experience intimate and hands-on.

We'd love to have you with us.

Books, Children and the Art of Learning

Join us for a reflective Earth Dialogue with Suresh Kosaraju, founder of Manchi Pustakam, as we read and discuss passages from various books on education and childhood.

Together, we will explore ideas from educators, thinkers, and writers who have reflected deeply on how children learn, grow, and make sense of the world. Through reading, conversation, and shared reflection, we hope to open up new ways of thinking about education, not as a system, but as a human journey.

💭 Reflect together
🌱 Learn together

We welcome parents, educators, students, and anyone interested in reimagining education and childhood with care and sensitivity.

Supported by CEK and Indica.org.

The hardest part about spinning yarn? Getting your mind to stop.

In a world obsessed with fast fashion, instant gratification, and logic-driven routines, we rarely take a moment to just be. At our recent Threads of Tradition workshop, participants unlearned their need to constantly overthink and traded it for the meditative rhythm of the Charkha.

Connect, pull, pinch, strengthen, and load.

Under the expert guidance of K J Satchidananda (Sacchu), we stepped into an artisan’s world. We found beauty in the physical challenge and realized that some of life's most profound joys are simple, accessible, and connect us deeply to the earth.

Missed out on the magic? We are currently planning our NEXT immersive two-day workshop at the Crafts Council of Telangana, and we want you there.

Want to be the first to know about our future workshops ? Then do follow us.

Our Threads of Tradition spinning workshop was such a beautiful experience. Watching everyone slowly tune into the rhythm of the charkha was magic, once that motion started, everything just went with the flow.

A massive thank you to our facilitator, Sachu, for the tremendous inputs and guidance. It was truly moving to witness participants consciously shift from their fast-paced lives into this mindful, intentional world, hands excitedly spinning cotton and connecting with the present moment.

Everyone left so excited to do it all over again. Which leaves us wondering... is Hyderabad ready to spin again?

Let us know in the comments if we should host another workshop in the near future!
