Shija Group Hosts JICA Interaction Programme on Skills and Opportunities

An interaction programme between the trainees, faculties, and the management team of Shija Group and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) was held on 7th-October 2025 at Hall-C, Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS). The event, organized by Shija Group in coordination with the Directorate of Craftsman Training, Manipur, under the Department of Skills, Labour, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Government of Manipur, was attended by around 180 participants, including Shija’s management team, and students and faculty of Shija Academy of Nursing.

The programme featured an interaction with Mr. Matsuno Issei (Representative, JICA India Office), who addressed queries on life and opportunities in Japan, and discussed potential collaborative projects with India, particularly in Manipur, along with Ms. Nishtha Vengurlekar (Development Specialist, JICA India Office) and Amarjit Rajkumar (Liaison Officer, Directorate of Craftsmen Training).
