Sijo Varghese’s Story of Hope & Action
At just 9 years old, Sijo was an energetic child, full of dreams—until one playful moment led to a devastating fall, a spinal cord injury, and a lifetime in a wheelchair.
The doctors said he wouldn’t walk again.
Society said his life was over.
But one person- a fellow paraplegic — showed him a different path.
✨ Today, Sijo is the founder of Bahaal — 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏.𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬.
