☂️✨ Today, we distributed umbrellas to children from Classes 1 to 5 in Baryatang Village, Malkangiri Odisha.

The joy and excitement on the children's faces made this initiative truly special. Their smiles reminded us how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

A heartfelt thank you to the BFL Family for your generous support and encouragement. Together, we are bringing happiness and care to young lives. 🙏💕🌈

“The Fifth Schedule Is Our Right, Not Anyone’s Charity!”

Here not merely for the question of one district, but for the question of our constitutional existence.

There is a demand to amend the Fifth Schedule status of Malkangiri.

I ask — with whose permission? For whose interest? Were the Adivasi people consulted?

The Fifth Schedule is not a gift from any government. It is the result of our struggle. It protects our land, our forests, our water, and the power of our Gram Sabha. To weaken it is to weaken the fundamental rights of Adivasis.

If any Adivasi MLA or MP remains silent or supports this conspiracy, they do not represent us — they represent power. The people elected them to safeguard our dignity, not to sell our rights.

We clearly warn —
Any decision taken by ignoring the Gram Sabha and the voice of Adivasis will not be accepted.

We will not tolerate the snatching away of our rights in the name of development.
An attack on the Fifth Schedule is an attack on the Constitution.
And an attack on the Constitution is an attack on democracy.

Today we declare —
Adivasi rights will not be reduced; they will be strengthened.
The Gram Sabha will not be weakened; it will be empowered.
No one can touch our constitutional protections.

Long live Adivasi unity!
Long live the Constitution!

The memorandum alleged that more than 5,000 attackers, including people from neighbouring Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, used dynamite, gelatine sticks, firebombs, axes, arrows and other weapons

The curfew in Malkangiri district did not arise overnight. It is the outcome of deep-rooted tension, long-standing injustice, and the growing frustration of tribal communities whose voices have repeatedly been ignored. The recent brutal murder of a tribal woman over land rights exposed the failure of the system to protect the people of a 5th Schedule area, where tribal land and dignity should have been safeguarded.

As anger and grief spread across villages, the administration imposed curfew to control the situation — but curfew cannot silence the truth. The real issue lies in the unchecked land grabbing, weak implementation of FRA and PESA, and the lack of timely justice for victims. People are not demanding conflict; they are demanding protection, justice, and accountability.

The curfew may restrict movement, but it cannot restrict the demand for rights, recognition, and safety for the Adivasi communities of Malkangiri.

A tribal woman lost her life while fighting for her rightful land and dignity. Her courage was greater than her fear, yet the system failed to protect her. She stood for justice, for her identity, for the rights given by the Constitution — and paid the ultimate price.
