A significant step towards strengthening Foundational Literacy and Numeracy across Ladakh.
We are pleased to announce that the School Education Department, UT Ladakh, has signed a 3 years Memorandum of Understanding with DEVI Sansthan. This collaboration aims to strengthen FLN implementation and help children across the region build strong foundations in reading, writing and numeracy.

The MoU was signed in the esteemed presence of Smt. Bhanu Prabha, IAS, Secretary, School Education Department, UT Ladakh.
Together, we look forward to empowering educators, improving learning outcomes and ensuring that every child in Ladakh acquires essential foundational skills.

As the Founder-Director of City Montessori School, Dr. Gandhi has devoted her life to children’s education, teacher development, women’s empowerment and social progress. Her innovative vision, compassionate leadership and unwavering commitment to values-based education continue to inspire generations.

On her 93rd birthday, we honour an extraordinary life dedicated to illuminating minds and transforming the world through education.

A significant step towards transforming education in Ashram schools.

Nandurbar District Collector Dr. Mitali Sethi visited and reviewed the four-day ALfA Teacher Training Programme organised under the Taloda Integrated Tribal Development Project, in collaboration with DEVI Sansthan, Lucknow.

Around 300 teachers from government and aided Ashram schools participated in hands-on sessions focused on Paired Learning, Random Pairing, Sound Blending, picture-based reading, the Known-to-Unknown approach and the Kinesthetic–Concrete–Abstract method for mathematics.

Through demonstrations, classroom simulations and activity-based exercises, teachers gained practical strategies to strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy while creating more engaging, student-centred classrooms.

By bringing together DEVI Sansthan, the district administration and the Taloda Project Office, this initiative marks an important milestone in improving learning outcomes for children in Ashram schools.

हिमाचल प्रदेश में स्कूली शिक्षा को अधिक प्रभावी बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम!
हिमाचल प्रदेश शिक्षा विभाग और डॉ. सुनीता गांधी, Founder, DEVI Sansthan के बीच ALfA (Accelerating Learning for All) पद्धति को सरकारी विद्यालयों तक पहुँचाने के लिए MoU पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।

माननीय शिक्षा मंत्री श्री रोहित ठाकुर की उपस्थिति में हुआ यह सहयोग बच्चों की बुनियादी साक्षरता और संख्यात्मक ज्ञान को मजबूत करने पर केंद्रित है।

ALfA की सहभागितापूर्ण और जोड़ी-आधारित शिक्षण पद्धति बच्चों को सक्रिय रूप से पढ़ने, समझने और आत्मविश्वास के साथ सीखने के लिए प्रेरित करती है। यह साझेदारी ऐसी शिक्षा की ओर एक मजबूत कदम है, जहाँ हर बच्चा सीखता भी है और सिखाता भी है।
