District Industries Centre & Association of Indian Manufacturers Join Hands to Digitally Empower MSMEs in Uttar Pradesh

In an era where artificial intelligence and digital transformation are reshaping global economies, many Msme Department of Uttar Pradesh Government Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are still not digitally connected to international markets. Recognizing this critical gap, the District Industries Centre (DIC) and the Association of Indian Manufacturers (AIM) have initiated a collaborative effort to digitally enable MSMEs across Uttar Pradesh.
The initiative aligns with the visionary leadership and export-driven growth agenda of Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji focusing on strengthening the state’s contribution to national and global trade.
A strategic meeting was convened between AIM representatives and Mr. Pankaj Nirvan, Deputy Commissioner, District Industries Centre, to deliberate on structured digital adoption, compliance readiness, AI integration, and export-oriented capacity building for MSMEs.
Mr. Kulmani Gupta - Global President, Association of Indian Manufacturers, emphasized that systematic digital enablement will unlock exponential growth opportunities for MSMEs, enhance their international market access, and significantly contribute to Uttar Pradesh’s export revenue.
Mr. Umesh Batra, National Secretary General, proposed organizing a comprehensive Workshop/Seminar aimed at creating awareness on digital transformation, global compliance standards, e-commerce onboarding, AI-driven solutions, and international trade facilitation mechanisms.
Mr. Sunil Rai, Chairman, GB Nagar, reaffirmed his commitment to fostering MSME growth and assured full cooperation at the district level to ensure successful implementation of digital initiatives.
This collaborative initiative marks a decisive step toward bridging the digital divide for MSMEs, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a digitally empowered and export-driven industrial hub.
