यूथ हॉस्टल (YHAI) कोरबा यूनिट, द्वारा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस पर महिलाओं का किया सम्मान

यूथ हॉस्टल संघ (YHAI) कोरबा यूनिट, द्वारा 14.03.2026 को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस मनाया . कार्यक्रम में महिलाओं का सम्मान समारोह आयोजित किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम CSPGCL के सीनियर क्लब में आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें कोरबा एवं बिलासपुर से लगभग 80 सदस्यों ने भाग लिया।

इस अवसर पर श्रीमती अलका कंसल मुख्य अतिथि एवं श्री संजीव कंसल (मुख्य अभियंता, DSPM) विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। श्रीमती कंसल ने अपने प्रेरणादायक उद्बोधन में बताया कि आज महिलाएँ हर क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ रही हैं और समाज में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दे रही हैं। श्री संजीव कंसल ने एक प्रेरक कहानी के माध्यम से बताया कि किस प्रकार एक महिला का जीवन बचपन से लेकर वृद्धावस्था तक बदलता है और किस प्रकार वह जीवनसाथी के रूप में पुरुषों का साथ देती है।

कार्यक्रम में यूथ हॉस्टल के राज्य अध्यक्ष संदीप सेठ ने मुख्य अतिथि श्रीमती कंसल का स्वागत किया तथा यूनिट अध्यक्ष सतीश शुक्ला एवं उपाध्यक्ष त्रिभुवन कौशिल ने विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री संजीव कंसल का स्वागत किया तद्पच्चात सभी महिलाओ को पुष्प गुच्छ देकर उनका स्वागत किया गया । कार्यक्रम में विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियाँ भी दी गईं, जिनमें रत्ना एवं स्वाति द्वारा नृत्य, श्री धुर्वे, कल्पना एवं संकल्प सेठ द्वारा गीत, श्रीमती अलका सेठ द्वारा बांसुरी वादन, स्मिता देशपांडे द्वारा कविता पाठ तथा संकल्प सेठ एवं जोएल नायर द्वारा पियानो एवं गिटार पर गाना प्रस्तुत किया गया। महिला सदस्यों के लिए कई मनोरंजक खेल भी आयोजित किए गए।

इस अवसर पर सभी महिलाओं को प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया तथा खेलों के विजेताओं को मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा पुरस्कार दिए गए। यूथ हॉस्टल की सक्रिय महिला सदस्य रीना मिश्रा, कल्पना सेठ, एस. के. मिरेंद्र एवं दीपा टंडन को उत्कृष्टता प्रमाण पत्र से सम्मानित किया गया। साथ ही 75 वर्षीय वरिष्ठतम सदस्य श्रीमती सुमन सेठ का विशेष सम्मान किया गया।

कार्यक्रम का सफल आयोजन संदीप सेठ के नेतृत्व में श्री तोमर, त्रिभुवन कौशिल, विकास नामदेव, नवीन माणिक, शैलेन्द्र, पी. एल. मिरेंद्र एवं मनोज मिश्रा के सहयोग से संपन्न हुआ।कल्चरल कमिटी की अध्यश रीना मिश्र ने सभी लोगो को धन्यवाद दिया . कार्यक्रम के अंत में मुख्य अतिथि को स्मृति चिन्ह प्रदान किया गया तथा इसके पश्चात सभी सदस्यों के लिए रात्रिभोज का आयोजन किया गया।इस कार्यक्रम में डॉ. सुनील, रितिका, आनंद, बी. एस. अहिरे, सीमा, प्रदीप, साधना, जय प्रकाश, पूनम, नविता, प्रीति, विजेश, रिया सहित अनेक सदस्यों ने भाग लेकर कार्यक्रम को भव्य एवं सफल बनाया।

यूथ हॉस्टल एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया (YHAI) कोरबा इकाई, छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य द्वारा 28 फरवरी एवं 1 मार्च 2026 को सत्रेंगा स्थित बांगो बांध के रमणीय बैकवाटर जलाशय के निकट अपना प्रथम “2 दिन 1 रात फैमिली कैंपिंग कार्यक्रम” सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित किया गया।

YHAI Korba Unit CG State Successfully Conducts 2D1N Family Camping

The Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI) Korba Unit, CG State, successfully organized its first-ever 2 Days 1 Night Family Camping Program on 28th February and 1st March 2026 near Satrenga, at the picturesque backwaters reservoir of Bango Dam.

The program was presided over by Chief Guest Sanjeev Kansal, CE, DSPM Korba, with Mrs. Alka Kansal as the Guest of Honour. Around 40 enthusiastic members participated in this adventurous and memorable event. State Chairman Sandeep Seth informed that the program included star gazing, a moonlight walk, games and sports, tent camping, bonfire, water sports, trekking inside water, boating, delicious vegetarian food, and a joyful Holi Milan celebration. The members set up tents and established a temporary tent city.
Chief Guest and Patron Sanjeev Kansal appreciated the vibrant functioning of the Korba Unit and praised the team for reaching new heights through such well-organized activities. Mrs. Alka Kansal also enjoyed the camping experience and conveyed her heartfelt Holi wishes to all members. The event was conducted under the leadership of State Chairman Sandeep Seth with the full support of Deepesh Rathore, Unit Vice President Tribhuwan Kaushil, Treasurer Premlal Mirendra, Executive Members Kalpana and Shivkumari, and Secretary Shailendra.

Members were given practical training on installing family tents and creating temporary eco-friendly toilet facilities. In an inspiring gesture, Shri Sanjeev Kansal personally installed his own tent along with Mrs. Kansal, motivating the youth hostel members through his active participation. The program concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony and prize distribution to the winners of various games by the Chief Guest.

Prominent participants included Anamika Atul Gupta, Alka Sunil Seth, Malti Pradeep Joshi, Yogesh, Smriti, Sadhna, M.C. Soni, Alka Naveen Manik, Smita Anand Deshpande, B.S. Ahire, Priyanka, Sharda and many others. कैंप के दौरान सदस्यों को पारिवारिक टेंट लगाने एवं अस्थायी पर्यावरण-अनुकूल शौचालय निर्माण का व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण भी दिया गया। प्रेरणादायक पहल करते हुए श्री संजीव कंसल ने स्वयं अपनी पत्नी के साथ अपना टेंट स्थापित किया, जिससे युवा हॉस्टल सदस्यों को सक्रिय सहभागिता का संदेश मिला। कार्यक्रम का समापन मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा प्रमाणपत्र वितरण एवं विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं को पुरस्कार प्रदान कर किया गया।
प्रमुख प्रतिभागियों में अनामिका अतुल गुप्ता, अलका सुनील सेठ, मालती प्रदीप जोशी, स्मृति योगेश राठौर, साधना, एम.सी. सोनी, अलका नवीन मानिक, स्मिता आनंद देशपांडे, बी.एस. अहिरे, प्रियंका, शारदा , सागर, सौरभ सहित अन्य सदस्य शामिल रहे। यह आयोजन YHAI कोरबा इकाई के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि सिद्ध हुआ तथा साहसिक गतिविधियों, सामुदायिक एकता एवं प्रकृति आधारित शिक्षण को बढ़ावा देने की उसकी प्रतिबद्धता को सशक्त रूप से प्रदर्शित करता है।

Dhamtari Unit CG State Organized : Confluence of Nature and Enthusiasm: “Boating cum-Trekking” Program Successfully on 22.02.2026

SP and DFO Dhamtari flagged off and participated the event : 120 participants from various districts of Chhattisgarh took part in this adventurous initiative, demonstrating their love for nature and commitment to health and fitness. The program was flagged off by the Superintendent of Police, Mr. Suraj Singh Parihar, along with the organization’s patron and Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Mr. Krishna Jadhav. A notable highlight of the event was that both officers not only ceremonially flagged off the participants but also joined the trekking activity themselves, motivating everyone along the way.

SP Suraj Singh Parihar emphasized a meaningful life philosophy, stating: “A person should learn to live with minimal resources. By respecting nature and adopting a lifestyle that consumes fewer resources, we can protect both ourselves and our environment.”
Similarly, DFO Mr. Krishna Jadhav remarked that when we serve and revere nature selflessly, it returns far more than what we take from it.

Chairman Hukum Chand Jain informed that members from Korba, Bhilai, Kawardha, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Raipur, and Baloda Bazar participated in large numbers in the Dhamtari trek. President Ramesh Dev stated that the primary objective of such events is to instill fresh energy and enthusiasm among people. Secretary Subodh Mahawar shared that the Youth Hostels not only organize trekking activities but also consistently undertake significant environmental initiatives such as park cleanliness drives, plastic eradication campaigns, and tree plantation programs. The event witnessed the gracious presence and active support of numerous members and volunteers, whose collective efforts ensured the grand success of the program.

The smooth ex*****on of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Dhananjay Sonkar, Yogesh Gupta, Bhupendra Sahu, Ramesh Dev, Hukum Chand Jain, Subodh Mahawar, and Manish Chandrakar, who played pivotal roles in organizing the program.

YHAI Dhamtari Unit Chhattisgarh State organised a Clean Drive Program on 8th Feb 2026 at the sacred Rudreshwar Ghat Temple.
Ahead of Maha Shivratri, a cleanliness drive at the sacred Rudreshwar Ghat Temple Premises, an important center of faith and tourism. The initiative aimed to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for the large number of devotees expected during the festival.

Chairman Shri Hukum Chand Jain stated that thousands of pilgrims visit the ghat on Shivratri, and this drive was conducted for their convenience and awareness. Along with YHAI members, visiting tourists also enthusiastically joined the campaign, including Priya Manikpuri (Bilaspur), Divya Chaudhary (Jaipur), Saniya Chandrakar (Dhamtari), and Gunjita Jaiswal (Bemetara).

The drive saw active support from Secretary Subodh Mahawar, President Ramesh Dev, Vice Presidents Manish Chandrakar and Vishesh Kotwani, EPC Dhananjay Sonkar, Media In-charge Dr. Bhupen Sahu, along with volunteers Anmol Kotwani, Vaidik Sonkar, and Jatin Dev. YHAI appealed to the Temple Committee and local Gram Panchayat to ensure a permanent waste disposal system to preserve the site’s cleanliness and beauty.

The Youth Hostel Korba unit CG State successfully organized a vibrant one-day trekking and training program on February 1, 2026, on the banks of the river Raja Nahkaan. Around 90 members participated, making it a well-attended community event focused on adventure, physical activities, social responsibility, and environmental awareness. Under the leadership of Chairman Sandeep Seth, with strong support from team members including Shiv Kumari, Tribhuwan, Kalpana, Suman, Deepesh, Ashish Khandelwal, A Y Tomar, Malti Joshi, and many others, the program featured a diverse range of activities Visit to Devgudi,Water sports,Traditional physical sports, Mind games,Breakfast and lunch,Certificate distribution ceremony. President Satish Shukla welcomed the chief guests Pradeep Joshi and Tarun Mishra. Special recognition went to Shri P L Mirendra and Tribhuwan Kaushil, who received Certificates of Excellence for their dedicated service to the Youth Hostel movement. The event also included a meaningful social outreach: stationery items and sweets were distributed to over 30 school and anganwadi students from the local Korba Jati village. Game winners received prizes, adding to the celebratory spirit. Shri Sanjeev Kansal, Chief Engineer and Patron of the Korba unit, congratulated the entire team for the program's success. Active participants such as Nikita, Mayank, Ajit, Arvind, Vikas, M L Sharma, Naveen Manik, Gurupanch, Devi Shankar, Dheeraj, Deepa, Amrita, and others provided positive feedback. The core themes—"ZERO food waste", "Mission NO Litter", and broader social work—were emphasized, with the unit achieving strong results in promoting sustainability and zero-waste practices throughout the day. Korba unit' is contineously making efforts to to conduct activities like river treks and environmental initiatives to foster youth development, adventure, and community service in Chhattisgarh.

YHAI Raipur Unit - CG State conducted 2D1N trekking cm training in Oadh, the last village of Chhattisgarh on 27th & 28th Dec 2025.The program was organized under the leadership of Unit Secretary Ashok Jhabak. Approx 45 Participants experienced the beauty of Shimla in Chhattisgarh Odisha border of Gariaband district. This exciting & beautiful trekking was organized in a Kamar tribe dominated village deprived of modern materialistic comforts in Chhattisgarh. Program included Visit to 3 different waterfall, Trekking of 12 kilometers, Campfire and Certificate distribution to the participants. Villagers also participated in the campfire. The taste of delicious food and tea and snacks prepared by the experts for two days became memorable for everyone. Varun Jain, Sagar, Rajendra Vaishnav, Rakhi Jhabak, Vimal Shrivas participated in the program with other members and played a commendable role in giving shape to this event.
