A JOURNEY OF LOVE, RESILIENCE AND ACCEPTANCE.

Shantanu Mukherjee shares his journey of raising his autistic son, Shourya Mukherjee, as a single parent after the loss of his wife.

He speaks of the challenges, struggles and moments that shaped their journey, with the support of his brother-in-law along the way.

His hope is simple: a society that chooses understanding over judgment and acceptance over assumptions.

Because every individual deserves not just to be included, but to belong.

Abhinaba’s family first came to know about his autism during a routine ENT check-up.
After visiting several doctors, they gradually understood that autism is not something to be cured, but something that needs the right support and understanding.

Today, Abhinaba continues his education at a government school with a special educator by his side.

His father’s goal is to see him continue his academics, grow and build a successful future.

A journey of acceptance, support, and hope.

Their journey as parents of an autistic child has taught them that acceptance comes first.

For Rushikesh’s parents, patience is key when teaching life skills, while staying open to learning and growing alongside him. As his interests and habits change, they find new ways to discover the world together.

For families of autistic children, being included means more than being welcomed in theory.

It means being asked, understood, and given the space to participate in ways that work for them.

Don’t assume what a family can or cannot handle. Ask. Accommodate. Include.

Because inclusion begins with making room, not making assumptions.

Some children need more than a teacher who teaches.
They need a teacher who understands, adapts, encourages, and sees beyond what is immediately visible.

For an autistic child, the right teacher can turn challenges into possibilities
and help them discover a belief that can last a lifetime: “I can.”

This Teacher’s Day, we celebrate the educators who make every child feel seen, understood, and capable.

Happy Teacher’s Day.

Sometimes, what looks like a behaviour that needs to be corrected is actually a form of communication that needs to be understood.

For autistic individuals, the world can sometimes feel overwhelming, unpredictable, or difficult to navigate. Instead of being quick to judge, let’s choose curiosity, patience, and empathy.

Because true inclusion begins when we take the time to understand what lies beneath the surface.

What if we looked at autism through the lens of joy, rather than challenges?

This feel-good documentary celebrates an autistic individual and his friends, their interests, their laughter, and the simple ways they enjoy life just like any other child.

They happily embrace being called “special” because they believe they are truly unique.

A little film with a big message: inclusion is about seeing possibilities, celebrating individuality, and allowing every child to simply be themselves.

For parents of autistic children, we hope this story brings a little positivity, hope and a smile.

The greatest barrier is often not autism. It’s misunderstanding.

Empathy may be felt deeply, even when it’s expressed differently.

A different way of showing care should never be mistaken for a lack of it.
When we look beyond assumptions, we make space for connection, acceptance, and belonging.
