We couldn't do anything worthwhile for her. Shelterless and without a parent,a penny or a friend for support she will probably have to wait for 3 more months till she reaches 18 and then, get married. Events since last two months had aggravated, hence this desperation

Sometimes has to split itself into its components and part ways. It's not merely because extreme heat or severe cold dissuade Tourism, it's also because even no amount of welfare can recompense the misery and suffering an individual or a community has to endure everyday.
Nilamani/Nilmani Garan had lost her husband long time ago with no issues left. She had been the first wife,too having secured nothing from that ill- fated wedlock apart from the "two-storied yojana awas" as her neighbours call it ironically. That being the regal state of her mansion she also has nothing to survive on. No food,no dress and most importantly,no love pr care! But she does have voter card, adhar card and ration card. She might also get a PAN card next time we go to her.
Cannot sanity come back sometime at least? Or an 86 year old lady deserves this life?

Purulia's ( traditional folk and tribal scroll ) have come to a handful in numbers now. These painters use earth colour prepared by themselves with zeo artificial synthetic interference. Their invaluable contribution to world of art stays unnoticed and they don't get buyers. A whole scroll takes anything between 2 months to six months to complete, hence these don't come cheap as opposed to digitally designed print. Can do anything to uplift these art and ensure that the artists don't need to work as daily labours to meet their bare minimum?
