The Rotary Club of Calcutta Yuvis, RID 3291, in association with Bhadrakali Youth Corps, proudly organised a meaningful women empowerment initiative through the distribution of 25 sewing machines.

The project aims to empower women by providing them with the tools to develop their sewing skills, earn a livelihood, and move towards financial independence. Each sewing machine represents more than just a tool — it symbolises hope, dignity, self-reliance, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.

Through this initiative, we aspire to encourage women to become self-reliant, support their families, and contribute to their communities with confidence.

🌈 Project MUSKAAN – New Cloth Distribution Drive with Toys

On 4th October 2026, Rotary Club of Calcutta Yuvis successfully completed Project MUSKAAN, a heartfelt initiative aimed at bringing smiles and happiness to children.

In association with Charaibeti, the club distributed 120 sets of new clothes along with 150 nos of toys to boys and girls in the 6–15 years age group at Mankurghat, Bagnan, Howrah.

The initiative was more than just a distribution drive—it was an effort to make children feel cared for, valued and special. The joy and excitement on their faces made the occasion truly memorable.

The project was carried out in keeping with Rotary International’s theme for 2026–27, “Create Lasting Impact”, demonstrating that even small acts of kindness can create lasting memories and meaningful change in young lives.

A special note of appreciation goes to Rtn. Jitendra Goyal for his generous contribution of 150 assorted toys, which added an extra touch of joy and excitement to the children during Project MUSKAAN.

His thoughtful gesture went beyond the planned distribution and helped create many more smiling faces among the children. The happiness and excitement reflected on their faces made the contribution truly meaningful.

The members of Rotary Club of Calcutta Yuvis warmly applauded and appreciated Rtn. Jitendra Goyal for his generosity and commitment towards making a difference in the lives of children.

🌈 Project MUSKAAN – New Cloth Distribution Drive.

In association with kadamtala Milan Sangh , the club distributed 102 sets of new clothes to boys and girls in the 6–15 years age group at Sonagachi , Kolkata.

The initiative was more than just a distribution drive—it was an effort to make children feel cared for, valued and special. The joy and excitement on their faces made the occasion truly memorable.

The project was carried out in keeping with Rotary International’s theme for 2026–27, “Create Lasting Impact”, demonstrating that even small acts of kindness can create lasting memories and meaningful change in young lives.

Project - 🎂 ZINDAGI – Celebrating Smiles, Creating Lasting Impact 💖

Today, under our project “ZINDAGI”, Rotary Club of Calcutta Yuvis celebrated the birthdays of 11 lovely girls of CMS Girls Home, Hindmotor, whose birthdays fall in the month of September.

The evening was filled with happiness, laughter and beautiful moments. The celebration included cake cutting, followed by special gifts for all the birthday girls and distribution of food items to all the girls of the home. 🎂🎁

Adding an extra touch of joy, the children of the home presented a lovely dance performance specially for the birthday girls, making the evening even more memorable. Their enthusiasm and innocent smiles truly made the celebration special. 💃❤️

For us, ZINDAGI is more than just celebrating birthdays. It is about creating moments of happiness, making every child feel valued and special, and leaving behind memories that can bring a smile even long after the celebration is over.
