Remembering Mother Teresa on her Death Anniversary

On the death anniversary of Mother Teresa, we remember with reverence a remarkable life dedicated to serving the poor, the sick and the marginalised.

Mother Teresa’s life continues to remind us that true service is rooted in compassion, dignity and the willingness to reach out to those most in need.

The Siddhartha Shankar Ray Foundation pays tribute to her enduring legacy of love, service and humanity.

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
— Mother Teresa

This photograph takes us back to a significant moment in West Bengal’s journey of compassionate service — the inauguration of the Nirmala Kennedy Centre, Barasat, with Shri S. S. Ray, then Chief Minister of West Bengal, in the presence of Mother Teresa and Mrs. H. Gordon.
