In the picturesque backwaters of rural Bengal near Kultali block, Sunderbans, members of Rotary Club of Belvedere Gardens Calcutta- club President Rtn Dr Debashish Bera and Rtn Miss Ayanika Bera, and assisted by Dr Swagata Nath and Mr Bidyut Dey distributed 1000 pieces of good quality sanitary pad free of cost among the female students, their mothers and teachers of Vivekananda Adarsh Vidyalaya yesterday on 8th September 2024.

Basic menstrual hygiene awareness was briefed by Dr Swagata Nath.

A total number of approx 80 ladies were benefitted.
Sanitary pads were sponsored by the club President Rtn. Dr Debashish Bera.

In the picturesque backwaters of rural Bengal near Kultali block, Sunderbans, Dr Debashish Bera and Dr Swagata Nath conducted a mega dental check-up camp with free distribution of toothbrushes and toothpastes among the students of Vivekananda Adarsh Vidyalaya yesterday, on 8th September 2024.

A total of 140 students and their mothers were examined and counselled about prevention of oral diseases.

150 toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes were sponsored by the club President Rtn. Dr Debashish Bera.

Doctors were ably assisted by Rotarian Miss Ayanika Bera and Mr Bidyut Dey.
