প্রিয় ব্যাঙ্ক কর্মীগণ,

ইউনাইটেড ফোরাম অফ ব্যাঙ্ক ইউনিয়নস (UFBU)-এর তথাকথিত সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ ইউনিয়নগুলির সাম্প্রতিক সিদ্ধান্ত এবং গৃহীত দৃষ্টিভঙ্গির আমরা তীব্র নিন্দা জানাই।
আমরা প্রত্যেক ব্যাঙ্ক কর্মীকে উপরের বার্তার চিহ্নিত বা হাইলাইট করা অংশটি মনোযোগ সহকারে পড়ার অনুরোধ করছি। এতে স্পষ্টভাবে স্বীকার করা হয়েছে যে NOBW এবং NOBO স্বাধীনভাবে ভারতীয় মজদুর সঙ্ঘ (BMS)-এর মাধ্যমে ভারত সরকারের কাছে 'সপ্তাহে পাঁচ দিন ব্যাঙ্কিং' (Five-Day Banking)-এর দীর্ঘদিনের দাবিটি পেশ করেছে।
পাঁচ দিনের ব্যাঙ্কিংয়ের দাবি কোনো একক ইউনিয়নের এজেন্ডা নয়—এটি সারা দেশের প্রতিটি ব্যাঙ্ক কর্মীর অন্যতম কাঙ্ক্ষিত স্বপ্ন। সরাসরি কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের কাছে এই বিষয়টি তুলে ধরা এবং এর বাস্তবায়ন ত্বরান্বিত করার আন্তরিক প্রচেষ্টার প্রশংসা করার পরিবর্তে, সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ ইউনিয়নগুলি UFBU থেকে NOBW এবং NOBO-কে বাদ দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে।
ব্যাঙ্ক কর্মীদের জন্য পাঁচ দিনের ব্যাঙ্কিং নিশ্চিত করার চেষ্টা করা কি অপরাধ?
কর্মীদের কল্যাণে অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম করা, সরকারের সাথে আলোচনা করা এবং দীর্ঘ প্রতীক্ষিত একটি দাবি আদায়ের চেষ্টা করা যদি অপরাধ বলে গণ্য হয়, তবে এই তথাকথিত সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ ইউনিয়নগুলি কোন দিকে এগোচ্ছে তা প্রত্যেক ব্যাঙ্ক কর্মীকে গভীরভাবে ভেবে দেখতে হবে।
অন্য কোনো ইউনিয়ন উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে বলে কোনো সংগঠনেরই উচিত নয় প্রকৃত ও সদর্থক পদক্ষেপগুলিকে দমন করা। এই ধরনের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি গণতান্ত্রিক ট্রেড ইউনিয়নবাদের চেতনার পরিপন্থী এবং ব্যাঙ্ক কর্মীদের বৃহত্তর স্বার্থের বিরোধী।
আমরা সমস্ত ব্যাঙ্ক কর্মীদের কাছে আবেদন জানাচ্ছি যে আপনারা স্বাধীনভাবে চিন্তা করুন, বিভাজনমূলক ও স্বৈরাচারী মানসিকতা প্রত্যাখ্যান করুন এবং এমন সংগঠনগুলির পাশে দাঁড়ান যারা জাতীয় স্বার্থ, কর্মীদের কল্যাণ এবং গঠনমূলক আলোচনার প্রতি প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।
NOBW এবং NOBO-তে যোগ দিন।
একটি ইতিবাচক, গণতান্ত্রিক এবং 'দেশ-প্রথম' ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন আন্দোলনকে সমর্থন করুন।

Appeal to Bank Employees

Dear Bank Employees,

We strongly condemn the recent decision and approach adopted by the so-called majority unions of the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU).

We request every bank employee to carefully read the highlighted portion of the above communication. It clearly acknowledges that NOBW and NOBO independently pursued the long-pending demand for Five-Day Banking with the Government of India through Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS).

The demand for Five-Day Banking is not the agenda of any single union—it is one of the most cherished aspirations of every bank employee across the country. Instead of appreciating sincere efforts made to take this issue directly to the Central Government and expedite its implementation, the majority unions have chosen to remove NOBW and NOBO from UFBU.

Is striving to secure Five-Day Banking for bank employees a crime?

If working tirelessly for employees' welfare, engaging with the Government, and pursuing a long-awaited demand is considered an offence, then every bank employee must seriously reflect on the direction in which these so-called majority unions are heading.

No organization should suppress genuine initiatives merely because they are undertaken by another union. Such an approach is against the spirit of democratic trade unionism and against the larger interests of bank employees.

We appeal to all bank employees to think independently, reject divisive and authoritarian practices, and stand with organizations that are committed to national interest, employees' welfare, and constructive dialogue.

গত ২রা তারিখ কোলাঘাট থার্মাল পাওয়ারের গেস্ট হাউসে আমাদের জাতীয় নেতা তথা রাজ্যের সাধারণ সম্পাদক সুভাষোষ বাবুর উপর এক প্রাণঘাতী হামলা চালানো হয়। আমাদেরই কিছু সহকর্মীর দ্বারা চালানো এই বর্বরোচিত হামলায় আমাদের জেলা নেতা ও সভাপতি শ্রীকান্ত বাবু সহ অন্যান্য ইউনিয়ন নেতারাও আক্রান্ত হন।
ইন্দোরামা ইন্ডিয়া প্রাইভেট লিমিটেড কন্ট্রাক্ট মজদুর সংঘের পক্ষ থেকে আমরা এই কাপুরুষোচিত ঘটনার তীব্র নিন্দা জানাচ্ছি। এই ঘটনায় আমরা সকলে গভীরভাবে শোকাহত ও মর্মাহত।

✊ Strong Condemnation & Demand for Justice ✊

On the 2nd of this month, a life-threatening attack was carried out at the Kolaghat Thermal Power guest house against our national leader and state general secretary, Subhashosh Babu. Our district leader and president, Srikanta Babu, along with other union leaders, were also targeted in this violent attack by some of our own co-workers.
On behalf of the Indorama India Private Limited Contract Mazdoor Sangh, we strongly condemn this cowardly act. We are all deeply saddened and shocked by this incident.
We urgently appeal to the administration and demand the following:
* Immediate Legal Action: Strict and lawful measures must be taken against the perpetrators.
* Fair Trial: A proper and just investigation must be conducted.
* Enhanced Security: The administration must provide adequate security for our leadership to ensure such incidents never happen again.
We will not accept these life-threatening attacks on our leaders! The administration must deliver a fair trial!

আজ, ভারতীয় মজদুর সংঘ (BMS), হাওড়া জেলার পক্ষ থেকে গোলাবাড়ি থানায় একটি ডেপুটেশন জমা দেওয়া হয়েছে। কোলাঘাটে আমাদের রাজ্যের সাধারণ সম্পাদক শ্রী দেবাশীষ ভট্টাচার্যের ওপর সাম্প্রতিক হামলার আমরা তীব্র নিন্দা জানাই এবং এর বিরুদ্ধে আমরা ঐক্যবদ্ধ।

🚨 ভারতীয় মজদুর সংঘ (BMS), পূর্ব মেদিনীপুরের পক্ষ থেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আপডেট 🚨

মাসের ২ তারিখে কোলাঘাটে একটি মর্মান্তিক ঘটনার পর, পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলা BMS দলীয়/অভ্যন্তরীণ গুন্ডামির বিরুদ্ধে দ্রুত, কঠোর এবং স্থায়ী শাস্তিমূলক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করেছে।

🔴 ঘটনা:
একটি স্থানীয় রক্তদান শিবির চলাকালীন, আমাদের মাননীয় রাজ্য সাধারণ সম্পাদক, শ্রী দেবাশীষ ভট্টাচার্য নির্মমভাবে আক্রান্ত হন। আমাদের দলেরই (বর্তমানে প্রাক্তন) জেলা সহ-সভাপতি এবং জেলা সদস্য এম. ঘোড়ার নেতৃত্বে ২০-৩০ জনের একটি দল দেবাশীষ দাকে শারীরিকভাবে লাঞ্ছিত করে এবং জোরপূর্বক একটি গাড়িতে অপহরণ করার চেষ্টা করে।
আমরা স্থানীয় পুলিশ প্রশাসনের কাছে গভীর কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করছি, যারা অবিলম্বে হস্তক্ষেপ করে আমাদের রাজ্য সাধারণ সম্পাদককে উদ্ধার করেছেন এবং ঘটনাস্থলেই অভিযুক্তদের গ্রেপ্তার করা শুরু করেছেন।

৪ তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত জেলা কমিটির একটি বৈঠকে, আমরা সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে 'জিরো-টলারেন্স' (শূন্য সহনশীলতা) নীতির সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি। এই জঘন্য কাজের সাথে সরাসরি যুক্ত ১৪ জন ব্যক্তিকে আজীবনের জন্য BMS থেকে বহিষ্কার করা হয়েছে।
আইনি ব্যবস্থা এবং নিরাপত্তার আবেদন:
* কোলাঘাট থানায় দেবাশীষ দার পক্ষ থেকে ইতিমধ্যেই একটি এফআইআর (FIR) দায়ের করা হয়েছে।
* আমরা আমাদের কেন্দ্রীয় নেতৃত্বকে বিষয়টি জানিয়েছি এবং ডিএম (DM), এসপি (SP) এবং মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর কাছে লিখিত অভিযোগ জমা দিয়েছি।
* যেহেতু এটি মাননীয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শুভেন্দু অধিকারীর নিজের জেলা, তাই আমরা দ্রুত ন্যায়বিচারের ব্যাপারে আশাবাদী। আমরা দৃঢ়ভাবে দাবি জানাচ্ছি যে, মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যেন আমাদের রাজ্য সাধারণ সম্পাদকের নিরাপত্তা সুনিশ্চিত করেন, যাঁর কাঁধে সমগ্র পশ্চিমবঙ্গের BMS-কে নেতৃত্ব দেওয়ার এক বিশাল দায়িত্ব রয়েছে।

🚨 Major Update from Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), Purba Medinipur 🚨

Following a shocking incident on the 2nd of the month at Kolaghat, the Purba Medinipur District BMS has taken swift, decisive, and permanent disciplinary action against internal hooliganism.

🔴 The Incident:
During a local blood donation camp, our Honorable State General Secretary, Sri Debashis Bhattacharya, was viciously attacked. A mob of 20-30 individuals—led by our own (now former) district co-president and district member M Ghora—physically assaulted Debashis Da and attempted to forcefully abduct him in a vehicle.

We extend our deep gratitude to the local police administration who intervened promptly, rescued our State General Secretary, and initiated arrests on the spot.

🚫 Strict Disciplinary Action Taken:
In a district committee meeting held on the 4th, we unanimously decided on a zero-tolerance policy. 14 individuals directly associated with this heinous act have been expelled from the BMS for life.

Legal Action & Appeal for Security:
* An FIR has already been lodged by Debashis Da at Kolaghat Police Station.
* We have notified our central leadership and submitted written complaints to the DM, SP, and the Chief Minister.

* Because this is the home district of Honorable Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, we remain hopeful for swift justice. We strongly demand that the Chief Minister ensures the safety and security of our State General Secretary, who bears the massive responsibility of leading the BMS across all of West Bengal.
BMS stands for the genuine rights of workers. We will never bow down to corruption, extortion, or violence! ✊🚩

🌟 Empowering Our Workforce: Mega Labour Awareness Camp in Kaliyaganj! 🌟

A successful Labour Awareness Camp was held at Kunor Bus Stand, Uttar Dinajpur, bringing together ~500 workers to learn about rights and welfare schemes.

Key Dignitaries: Swami Utpal Maharaj (MLA), Baladev Mandal (Joint Labour Commissioner), & BMS leadership.
