👉 Timely screening for diabetes can save years of your life.
This Lancet Global Health study shows that in adults aged 45+ in India, nearly 1 in 5 people has diabetes – that’s about 50 million adults.

Worse, around 4 out of 10 people with diabetes still don’t know they have it, and only about half are on treatment.

So if you are 40+, or have family history, high BP, or obesity,
✔ Get your blood sugar checked regularly (fasting + HbA1c).
✔ Eat more vegetables, whole grains, and less sugar‑loaded foods.
✔ Stay active every day – even brisk walking counts.

Doing this early can prevent complications like eye, kidney, and heart problems and help you live healthier, longer.

Breathing should never be a struggle.

On World Asthma Day, we raise awareness about asthma—a chronic respiratory condition that needs proper diagnosis, regular monitoring, and timely treatment.

For people living with chronic conditions like diabetes, managing overall health—including lung health—is equally important.

With the right care and awareness, asthma can be well-controlled, allowing individuals to lead active, healthy lives.

Let’s spread awareness and support better breathing for all. 💙
