“From Glory to Grit: Caring for Injured Basketball Players Past and Present”

At My Children Foundation, we believe that children’s growth goes far beyond classrooms and textbooks. True development means nurturing every talent—sports, creativity, discipline, resilience, and well-being.

Our recent collaboration with the West Bengal Basketball Association reinforced an important message: while sports bring glory, health and awareness sustain a lifetime. Learning how to care for the body, prevent injuries, and build lifelong habits is as important as winning on the court.

Though this engagement focused on basketball, our vision is not limited to any one sport or activity. We remain committed to holistic development—helping children grow strong in mind, body, and character.

🌟 Empowering Young Minds Through Digital Literacy 🌟

We are excited to share that My Children Foundation has launched a Digital Literacy Program across our learning centers! 💻📚

Through this initiative, children are learning essential digital skills—helping them use technology responsibly, confidently, and creatively. From basic computer knowledge to navigating the digital world safely, this program is a step toward bridging the digital divide and preparing our children for the future.

We believe that digital literacy is no longer optional—it is a life skill. With your support, we can reach many more children and strengthen this initiative further.

A single moment can change a life—but timely support can change its direction.

Meet Nehal Shaw, a bright student from a Hindi-medium school who faced an unimaginable loss just one day before his Class 10 results—the sudden passing of his father. Despite topping his board exams among four nearby schools, Nehal’s dream of continuing education was at risk due to financial hardship.

With the timely intervention of his teacher, Mr. Manoj Kumar Paan, and the support of My Children Foundation, Nehal was able to continue his education. Today, he is in Class 12, has topped his coaching institute, and aspires to pursue a B.A. and become a high school teacher, giving back to society.

Stories like Nehal’s are made possible by people who choose to stand by children when they need it most. Your support can help many more students continue their education and build a dignified future.

🌟 A Proud Moment for My Children Foundation 🌟

We are delighted to share an inspiring testimonial from one of our bright young learners, Raj Suvro Roy from Boichi, Hooghly. Raj has been selected by TATA Voltas through campus recruitment at Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira, Belur, where he is currently completing his final semester of diploma studies.

His journey has been anything but easy — filled with late nights, relentless effort, and unwavering determination. Yet, what stands out most is his gratitude. Raj generously credits My Children Foundation for being a guiding force in his path, offering support, mentorship, and opportunities that helped him rise to this milestone.

This week, our team visited one of our most remote learning centers in the village of Arbetal, Bankura—a place where opportunities are limited but dreams are alive and hopeful.

We spent the day with our children aged 5 to 15, distributing school bags, winter clothes, dresses, books, and board games, and ending the visit by sharing a warm meal together. The children welcomed us with dance, songs, recitation, and heartfelt stories that truly moved everyone present.

Their innocence touched us deeply. Their struggles for even basic necessities are overwhelming, yet their spirit remains unbroken.

The teacher at the center beautifully expressed how the continuous support from My Children Foundation keeps these children motivated—helping them stay in school and dream beyond the boundaries of their village. One day, they will step into towns and cities, equipped with confidence, skills, and hope, to reach their full potential.

We are proud to be part of their journey.
Together, we can give them the opportunities they deserve.
