ভারতের বৃহত্তম ছাত্র সংগঠন, অখিল ভারতীয় বিদ্যার্থী পরিষদ, জাতীয়তাবাদী ছাত্র সমাজ গঠনে ১৯৪৯ সালের ৯ই জুলাই প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। জ্ঞান, চরিত্র, একতা-র মন্ত্রে দেশের ছাত্র সমাজ কে উদ্বুদ্ধ ও তাদের মধ্যে দেশাত্মবোধ জাগ্রত করে যোগ্য মানুষ তৈরির মাধ্যমে ছাত্র শক্তিকে রাষ্ট্র শক্তি তে পরিনত করাই বিদ্যার্থী পরিষদের মূল উদ্দেশ্য।
