Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba of District 322B1 as usual have their regular weekly Vocational Training on Spoken English and Basic Computer Training on Saturday 20th September 2025 from 6 to 8.30 pm

Lion Subhasish Bose, District Chairman Education City 2025-26 , Charter President of Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba of District 322B1 was present at a Vocational Training centre of Lions Club of Calcutta Paradise at Dhapa, Mathpukur to inaugurate the centre on Saturday, 20th September 2025 at 11 am with Paradise Club President Lion Alpa Malani, Secretary Lion Pali Gathani , Treasurer PP Lion Hina Doshi AND Lion Avisek Saha, President of L C Kolkata Kasba.

This New Vocational Training centre has been initiated by the Paradise Club President Lion Alpa Malani who has renovated the centre , coloured the room , donated a Computer for the locality Mathpukur students with her own financial support and promised to run the centre for coming six (6 ) months including the rent of the concerned room.

IN ONE WORD THE PROJECT IS MARVELLOUS, HAVING BENEFICIARY OF DAILY 60 STUDENTS APPROXIMATELY.

As District Chairman Education City 2025-26 of Lions International District 322B1, Lion Subhasish Bose, being Charter President of Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba of District 322B1 as invited by the SSM HOME AUTHORITY was present at SSM HOME ( Sarva Shiksha Mission Girls Home) , Bidyadharpur High School for Girls on Saturday, 20th September 2025 from 4 to 5 pm for taking an Examination of both English and Bengali for the students of Class 3 to 6th standard just before the Durga Puja vacations.

Those students who can answer the queries with correct spelling got various prizes. Lastly we distributed small gifts with toffees to all the students.

Beneficiaries 87 students.

Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba of District 322B1 District Governor Lion Manju Chamaria's official visit to Kasba Lions Club on Thursday, 18th September 2025 at Kasba Club venue from 7 to 8 pm.

On behalf of Kasba Club 12 members were present including PST, Lion Avisek Saha, Lion Mousumi Banerjee and Lion Sujit Sharma.

Three Past Presidents were present Lion Subhasish Bose, Lion Niladri Dutta and Lion Pranab Kr Chakraborty.

Other members include Lion Tanmay Saha, Lion Abhijit Dutta, Lion Soumendra Ghosh, Lion Varun Giri, Lion Manisha Raychaudhuri and Lion Sushmita Roy.

Kasba Club started with 20 members in 2025-26 (1st July 2025) removing 7 Club members in 2025-26 with Board approval. The members either resigned or not paying Club Fees for more than a year was removed. From July 2025 till date Kasba Club induct three (3 ) members including Lion Sujit Sharma, Lion Varun Giri, and Lion Sushmita Roy totalling 23.

On behalf of Kasba Club the following members donated Rs 27,000/- to District Fund Foundation on 18th September 2025 and handed over eight cheques to Lion Manju Chamaria, District Governor 2025-26. Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba already donated up to 2024-25 Rs 165000/- approx among which Lion Subhasish Bose himself donated Rs 94000/-, Lion Monalisa Bose Rs 30000/-.

Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba of District 322B1 initiated PIP Rohit Mehta Lions Quest Week on 18th August 2025 at the Sarva Shiksha Mission Girls Home at Kasba from 5 to 8 pm.

We initiated Drawing Competition and arrange plays among the girl students, ie Kabbadi and passing tbe ball.

Lion Subhasish Bose gives a speech on Peace of mind to all the students.

Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba of District 322B1 initiated to have a Junior Football Coaching Centre very recently in thus lonistic year 2025-26 under the supervision of PST , Lion Avisek Saha, Secretary Lion Sujit Sharma, Treasurer Lion Mousumi Banerjee with 1st Vice President Lion Tanmay Saha and Charter President Lion Subhasish Bose.

The coach of the Junior Football Coaching centre as has been finalised footballer Lion Sujit Sharma, being ex A***n Club footballer.

The whole program will be coordinated by Lion Subhasish Bose, Charter President of Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba.

Rakhi celebration on Saturday, 09th August 2025 at 8.00 pm at Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba Venue at Kamala Park, Kolkata 700031. Lion Rekha D Shah, Cabinet Member 2025-26 was present at the Kasba Club venue and tied Rakhi to Lion Subhasish Bose, Lion Avisek Saha and Lion Mousumi Banerjee, members of Kasba Club.
Lion Rekha D Shah, Lion Subhasish Bose and Lion Mousumi Banerjee distributed sweets to all the students and participants.
