An open letter to .skipp from our fan.
Dear Skippy,
We at Tottenham Hotspur are particularly wary of the frustration that injuries cause. Our hearts go out to the numerous players we've had to replace due to various injuries throughout the years; we can only imagine what it must be like to sit at home and watch the entire season unfold, while your squad enjoys all the joys and sorrows of playing on the field alongside you.
It's time for you, Oliver to demonstrate your abilities to the globe. I hope you continue to shine as a 20-year-old who has emerged from our very own academy to make an immediate impact and score a game-winning goal against a formidable competitor.
While you are still a youthful athlete, you have already accomplished quite a bit. Many young players take their cues from you and strive to achieve your level of skill and commitment to the sport.
Pushing a homegrown talent to greatness is always a treat for the club's legion of fans. Moreover, you can always count on the unflinching support of Spurs supporters everywhere as you continue to improve as a footballer. No matter what you accomplish in the future, know that you will have our undying support. Keep Marching Skippy, for we have so much to achieve this season.
To dare is to do, glory to us, Tottenham Hotspur for life.
