Goddess Katyayani: The 6th Form of Navadurga
Goddess Katyayani is worshipped on the sixth day of Navaratri. She is a fierce and powerful form of Goddess Durga, representing courage, strength, and the destruction of evil. According to mythology, she was born to the great sage Katyayana, after whom she is named. Goddess Katyayani is depicted as a warrior goddess, riding a lion, holding a sword, lotus, and other weapons, ready to vanquish evil forces.
Spiritual Significance of Goddess Katyayani:
1. Strength and Valor:
Katyayani is known as the goddess of war and courage. Worshiping her instills strength and bravery, helping devotees overcome obstacles and defeat inner and outer enemies like fear, doubt, and ignorance.
