What does casual patriarchy look like in progressive homes?

We often believe that equality begins at home. But do unconscious biases, everyday expectations, and invisible roles still shape our daily lives ?

Join us for an engaging conversation with acclaimed filmmaker Jeo Baby, creator of The Great Indian Kitchen—the film that sparked a nationwide dialogue on gender roles—alongside P. R. Arun, creator of the critically acclaimed play The Hand of God, and Dr. Muthumani Somasundaran, an acclaimed actor, theatre artist, legal scholar whose work spans the worlds of art and law.

Together, they will bring diverse perspectives to one of today’s most relevant conversations—challenging assumptions, sharing insights, and inviting us to reflect on the subtle ways patriarchy continues to influence our lives.
A conversation that invites us to see the familiar through a different lens.

Experiential Learning & Adventure Trip

On August 9, 2026, ROV Foundation, in collaboration with Amae Foundation and with the support of Shaino Foundation, organised an exciting experiential learning trip for 23 participants to the Adventure Park at Chittilappilly Square, Kakkanad.

The children enjoyed a day filled with cycling, rock climbing, zip lining, swimming, a magic show, hula hoop dance and a lively group dance performance. Adding to the Onam spirit was a fun-filled game of Vadam Vali (tug of war).

Representing ROV Foundation were Mini Menon and Vishma, while Anood represented Amae Foundation.

Beyond the fun and adventure, the day encouraged confidence, courage, teamwork, coordination, physical fitness and peer bonding. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn, explore and simply enjoy being together.

A heartfelt thank you to Shaino Foundation for making this memorable experience possible.
