TBCA Collegian Seminar 2026
The Department of Youth Affairs, Tangsa Baptist Churches Association (TBCA), successfully organized a three-day Collegian Seminar from 03–05 July 2026 at Tangsa Baptist Church, Longtom-II, under the theme "Work Wholeheartedly for the Lord" (Colossians 3:23).
The seminar witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 171 collegians and youths from various churches under the Association. The programme aimed to strengthen participants spiritually, intellectually, and socially through biblical teaching, practical guidance, and interactive activities.
The Resource Persons for the seminar were Mr. Samwem Khilak, Mr. Nokwom Ronrang, Mr. Ongtang Simai, Mr. Thanlong Thanching, Mr. Kamrin Kamba, Mrs. Rebi M. Langching, and Miss Theknan Lungphi.
The sessions covered the following topics:
1. Navigating Life and Faith in a Changing World
2. Christian Apologetics: Defending Your Faith
3. Overcoming Failures and Developing Resilience
4. The Importance of Family Values in Modern Society
5. Career Guidance and Future Opportunities
In addition to the academic sessions, participants actively engaged in various outdoor and indoor activities, including Volleyball, Tug of War, Bible Quiz, Extempore Speech, Talent Hunt, and Story Writing Competition, fostering fellowship, teamwork, leadership, and healthy competition.
The seminar concluded successfully with a renewed commitment among the participants to serve Christ wholeheartedly and live as faithful witnesses in their families, churches, educational institutions, and society.
