Our aims and objectives mainly are to assist cancer patients and persons suffering from kidney and heart ailments. We consist of a group of 350 persons cutting across religious and political affiliations. We conduct early cancer detection camps and other medical camps to contain contagious diseases. Blood donations camps are also conducted at regular intervals. We also assist bright students with
low financial capacity to impart their further studies. We periodically donate medicines to cancer patients directly in need of help. We also provide food and cloths to inmates of local home of destitutes run by the Corporation of Kochi. Our Ambulance Service is rendered free to the needy persons. We are advised and guided by Dr.P.V.Gangadharan (Oncology Dept., Lakeshore Hospital) and his Dr.Chithra Thara (Amrutha Institute of Medical Sciences) in addition to the doctors of Cancer Ward, Ernakulam General Hospital. Donations to ASRAYA are exempted from tax by Department of Income Tax, Govt. Our Chartered Accountants are M/s. Krishna Murthy and Krishna Murthy of D.H. Road, Ernakulam.
