Thematic Focus of the Organization:
The organization setup was planned on 1985 by dedicated experience rural background social activist for the objective of holistic rural development, so the effort of the organization through meetings, inter communication discussion with Rural Poor, deprived people through skilled individual and strong group with democratic and creative approach reducing the exis
ting social, economic and political inequalities and to establishment a society where every people (male & female) will have been skilled and worked to make their group empowered and connect family, society and nation for development main streaming. Because they have seen and reside the rural life and dearth very closely that how a rural youth with ample energy, hard worker, and essential qualification but because of lack of proper guidance, knowledge and resources their progress has been blocked. The organization has registered in society registration act in 1988. Organization approaches from beginning to till date in program implementation considering “Learning by Doing” principle and long term dream with step by step implementing program from last 30 years objective to Rural Development covering all villages of Kapasan Sub division working through community participation. In the first phase, organization collaboratively worked in support of Rural Development and Agriculture Department Program implementation. In 1990s during the organization activities review meeting we found that in village there are lack of knowledge, unity, skilled and leadership among the people. For the above issue organization took the challenge to improve their status and holistic Rural Development we started our work at two villages i.e. Chamanpura and Nangpura of Rashmi Block to run the program by three volunteers, this was the initial stage of work for area, organization and team, all have development coordination. In the year 1995 organization review meeting we found that our organization needs to focus on women and child development also. By the successful implementation of organization activities in two villages we spread our coverage on 10 more villages aim to focus women & child. So that time our coverage was at 12 villages of Kapasan Subdivision. During program implementation we noticed that women participation and support was enthusiastic so we have put priority on program implementation with involvement of more women. In the year 2000 during this phase we focused with adolescence male & female issues like Adolescence health, reproduction, and other related issue and identified the peer educators from themselves which has developed leadership skills and advocacy munch has been prepared and through collaborative effort for objective of reduce the govt. Schemes & Program lacuna address and prepared a community organization i.e. Mewar Jan Adhikar Manch for raise the voice in against different issue and put effort to link them in development main stream. This Advocacy Munch informed to the concerned govt. officer for their subordinate work lacunas as well as informed to community about how to avail the govt. Scheme, about process etc. Organization has focused on empowerment of Panchayati Raj institution (PRI) as well as environmental & Natural resource Management, Agriculture, Dairy, Livelihood and Health & Education, Leadership development, women & child health (immunization, nutrients foods), Sexual & reproduction health related issues these program has been started by organization in Joint collaboration of community organization for quality of services and handle the problem of the area raised & provided creative solution at state, National and international level. In current phase from 2010 organization is working on 152 selected villages of 3 blocks from Kapasan Subdivision in the above all issue. Moreover selected 22 villages of two blocks of Pratapgarh district has also been included in holistic development activities. Beside it after declaration of chittorgarh district in National Rural Employment Scheme Act, we created An NGO NETWORK from different blocks of the district to aware about NAREGA in 11 blocks about the Act, Govt. Facilities implementation plan & provide support to administration for proper monitoring of the program. In Present time we put our effort for effective implementation and sustainability in different blocks of both Chittorgarh & Pratapgarh district. Organizational Achievements
Navachar Sansthan has made interventions like public awakening, capacity building, group formation, machia training, resources development, etc. As a result of these interventions, which lay emphasis on people’s participation, and withdrawal strategy of the Organization, the following networks have come up. It is hoped that these networks will continue present efforts in the area’s development.
