The history of the camera spans several centuries, evolving from basic optical devices to sophisticated digital systems. Below is an overview of key milestones:

1. Camera Obscura: displayed images but couldn’t capture pictures.

2. First Photograph: Niépce took the first photo (1826). Daguerreotype (1839) made the process faster.

3. Film Era: Calotype (1841), Kodak’s 100-photo camera (1888), and Leica’s 35mm film (1930s) popularized photography.

4. Color Photography: Autochrome (1907) and Kodachrome (1935) introduced color photos.

5. Instant Photography: Polaroid cameras (1948) produced physical photos within minutes.

6. Digital Cameras: CCD technology (1969) led to Kodak’s first digital camera (1991).

7. Camera Phones: Sharp J-SH04 (2000) initiated the camera phone trend.

8. Smartphone Cameras (2000s-present):

2007: iPhone made phone cameras ubiquitous.

2010s: Dual lenses, night modes, and portrait effects became standard.

Now: Smartphone cameras continue to improve with AI, lenses, 4K/8K video, low-light shots, and professional-level editing—right in your pocket! ✨

The Emotion of Courage and Valor (Veer Rasa)

A moment from the sold-out Sitar for Mental Health live show in Mumbai (NCPA), performing my composition “Chanakya.”

Inspired by the NavRasa, this piece expresses ‘Veer Rasa’-the essence of courage and strength. While a hero may not need weapons, for me, the sitar is my instrument of choice to inspire peace and consciousness.
This song is deeply special to me because it channels the warrior spirit within, resonating with the same guidance and strength that the great kingmaker in history Chanakya bestowed upon his disciple Chandragupta Maurya and made him king of the Indian Subcontinent.

True gallantry is born from within. Stay strong keep ya head up🫶🏻
