During an overnight hike at Naihati on 19.04.2026, a total of 29 Scouts & Guides from Vivekananda Group (Kanchrapara District Association) actively participated in a vibrant Swachhata Abhiyan.

With creative, self-written slogans, they marched through the local streets and reached Naihati Railway Station, spreading awareness among commuters and residents.

Their energetic voices echoed the importance of cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and a healthier environment—truly inspiring the community to take positive action.

On the occasion of Earth Hour, members of the Vivekananda Group actively participated in this global movement on 28th March 2026 from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Demonstrating strong commitment towards environmental conservation, all members switched off non-essential lights and electrical appliances, contributing their part towards a sustainable future.

✨ Beyond saving energy, the hour was spent meaningfully — members engaged in quality family time through conversations, storytelling, and quiet reflection. This not only strengthened family bonds but also deepened awareness about the importance of sustainable living.

✨Educational Donation Drive ✨

On the special occasion of the 34th Group Day of Vivekananda Group, our members visited Sri Bidyapith G.S.F.P. School and organised a meaningful Educational Material Donation Drive.

With the support of our dedicated members and kind-hearted well-wishers, we successfully donated essential educational items to 70 students of the school. 📚✏️

Along with the donation, our team spent a wonderful time with the children. We conducted fun activities, action songs, and interactive games, which brought big smiles and created lots of beautiful memories. 😊🎶🎉

This initiative reflects our Group’s commitment to community service and helping young learners grow with confidence and joy.

✨ 34th Group Day Celebration – Vivekananda Group ✨

The 34th Group Day of Vivekananda Group, under Kanchrapara District Association, Bharat Scouts and Guides, was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 06 December 2025 at our Group Den. Over 60 members gathered by 7:30 a.m. to mark this special day.

The programme began with an All-Faith Prayer and Flag Ceremony, followed by a delightful Cake Cutting to celebrate 34 years of dedicated service.

A proud moment of the day was the Going Up Ceremony, where three Cubs officially advanced to the Scout Section, marking a new chapter in their Scouting journey.

Overall, it was a day filled with pride, discipline, joy, and togetherness.

On September 17, 2025, the members of the Vivekananda Group, Kanchrapara District Association, of Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides held a successful Drinking Water Service.

In two shifts, 30 of our Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers served refreshing water to over 300 people at the Vishwakarma Puja Mela, held in front of the Kanchrapara Workshop Gate. We also assisted the Workshop RPF with crowd control and ran a successful "Join Scouting" campaign by distributing leaflets.

We are proud of our team for their hard work and dedication to community service.

🇮🇳 Independence Day Celebration and Swachhata Awareness Rally at Railway Colony 🇮🇳

On the occasion of Independence Day, the Vivekananda Group, under the Kanchrapara District Association, Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts & Guides, proudly organized a Colony Awareness Rally at Itkhola Colony focusing on Swachh Railway and Swachh Bharat 🚆✨

Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers enthusiastically participated, spreading awareness among residents about cleanliness, hygiene, and responsible waste disposal. With banners, placards, and powerful slogans, they inspired the community to join hands in keeping railway premises and surrounding areas clean.

This event not only celebrated the spirit of independence but also highlighted the values of civic responsibility and community service that lie at the heart of Bharat Scouts & Guides. 💚

🎉 Cub Day Celebration – 6th July 2025 🎈
Vivekananda Group's Cub Section joyfully celebrated Cub Day at our Group Den with 16 Cubs, 3 Cub Masters, and 4 Service Rovers! 🇮🇳✨

The day began with a respectful Flag Ceremony, followed by fun-filled activities like games, craft-making, and action songs. 🎨🎲🎶

A special moment was the cake-cutting with our favorite guest, Jaboo the Joker, bringing smiles all around! 🎂🤡

We were honored by the presence of Shri Gopal Biswas, Assistant District Commissioner (Scout), whose support made the day even more memorable.

The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, wrapping up a day full of joy, laughter, and scouting spirit! 💙💛
