We take the privilege to introduce Agantuk,a socio cultural development organization, which is functioning in Kolkata. Our object is to participate actively in the noble mission of uplift of the children of the backward community and the children who fight against autism. Our focal point is to empower the women of the society and make them worthy to lend their hands towards the uplift of their fam

ily. Objectives are simple but require committed and directed work towards the cure of ills of the society. Elimination of child labour and empowerment of women even in a very small way will be of yeomen service towards the society. We owe the society a debt that we need to pay when we are in a comparatively better state than others in a society. Agantuk is an organization dedicated and driven by focus to reach those most in need. An implementing agency to initiate and to bridge the gap for the betterment of the society, founded with an aim to encourage empowerment of women, gender equality, child protection and initiate active part in the development of poor child's education, health in the rural, and semi urban areas and also to promote and preserve the dying form of folk art, craft and culture creating income generating platform for the talented artists and indigenous artists. We invite you to join us as a member of Agantuk for Your support will allow us to reach and accomplish the future of hundreds of children and give them a chance to undertake the journey towards a bright future by receiving the resources, training and tools that will benefit them for years to come. 📝 নন্দনা, বয়স মাত্র ১১।
এই বয়সে ওর পৃথিবী ভরে থাকার কথা ছিল রঙিন খাতা, স্কুল ব্যাগ, বন্ধুদের হাসি,
আর দুর্গোৎসবের কোলাহলে নতুন জামার খুশি।

নন্দনা খুব সাধারণ এক মেয়ে—
সকালে ঘুম ভাঙলে স্কুল ব্যাগটা আঁকড়ে ধরতো,
সাঁতারের ক্লাসে ফাঁকি দিত না,
আর ছোট্ট বাঁশিটা বাজিয়ে সবার মুখে হাসি ফোটাতো।

কিন্তু আজ নন্দনা শুয়ে আছে হাসপাতালের বেডে।
রঙিন কার্টুন কম্বলের আড়ালে লুকিয়ে আছে দুর্বল দেহটা।
চোখ দুটো ভরা ভরসায় তাকিয়ে থাকে চারদিকে—
যেনো বিশ্বাস খুঁজছে…
“আবার আমি স্কুলে যাবো, আবার সাঁতার কাটবো, আবার বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে ঠাকুর দেখবো…”

কিন্তু এই বছর আর পারবে না।
কারণ নন্দনা আক্রান্ত হয়েছে ভয়ঙ্কর রোগে— *Cutaneous Lymphoma* ।

প্রতিদিন বাঁচতে হলে তাকে নিতে হয় ৩ ইউনিট প্লাজমা।
বাবা সমীরবাবু ছ’মাস ধরে একে-ওকে ধরে প্লাজমা জোগাড় করেছেন।
কিন্তু এখন অনেকেই তাকে রাস্তায় দেখলেই এড়িয়ে চলে যান…
কারণ তিনি হয়তো আবার প্লাজমার কথা বলবেন।

অবশেষে, সর্বস্ব হারিয়ে সমীরবাবু এখন সরকারি জায়গা থেকে ব্যাগপ্রতি ৩০০ টাকা,
আর বেসরকারি জায়গায় ৪০০–৪৫০ টাকা দিয়ে প্লাজমা কিনছেন।

সব হারিয়েও বাবা হাল ছাড়েননি।
কারণ তাঁর বিশ্বাস—
“আসছে বছর নন্দনা আবার নতুন জামা পরে দুর্গা ঠাকুর দেখবে।”
